I heard that Chinese album tracks afew years before it came out! and not much changed to be honest!! and they final album just sounded over produced and old!! it wasn't guns n roses! and Axl spent way to long to release something that just didn't live up to any of the orignal albums!!

Won't rant for too long here: Axl's version of GnR is NOT GnR. Velvet Revolver are nothing but ex-GnR pretending to be GnR, However, Axl was the greatest Rock n Roll frontman ever, and Slash & Duff made that frontman shine because together they ARE GnR. In a nutshell, these guys all need each other or they're nothing at all. I love Axl, I really do, but he's gotta get off his soapbox ego, lose the posse he calls GnR and get this band back together if he wants to regain respect.

I love Chinese Democracy and both of VR's albums. I could never really chose, and I don't see why anyone needs to. I love gnr and everyone that was/is in it, so I don't really favour any band over another :)

i find it downright hilarious that people judge any one member in the classic line up of Guns N' Roses on their level of intellect ....just look at interviews from 1987 to 1993 and you'll see why. The only reason why any one of them are trying be mature and civil about the subject of old GN'R ( that even includes Axl as mature as Axl can be) is because the media tends blow every little detail way out of context.
