This song was written over a hundred years ago but is sa timely as if written yesterday.I remember my mother singing it as a child so it has special meaning to me. Jesus does care about us more than anyone else ever could.. Mark does a great job singing it even if it is not his usual style.. I love Mark and am so sorry to hear that he has MS. I pray for his healing. I believe there is healing for us in the atonement.

I just read through the comments. I guess people are use to seeing Mark and his comic side and not this serious side?

I think Mark is doing just fine by reading his website. He seems to be busy doing his own concert tours and is now enjoying the summer. This is a song from his I Love To Tell The Story Hymn CD that won a Dove Award this year. This is an old hymn. I love this song. I may have the lyics if anyone would like them. Not sure if that is allowed?

i know it wasn't that long after he had is motorcycle wreck, but other than that i dont know of him being sick. but i do agree he does look like he has been sick in this video

Actually not long ago Mark revealed that he had MS (Multiple Sclerosis) if I am correct.  In fact he's been diagnosed for about five years I think. Please keep him in your prayers.

you are right, he did/does have MS. i'm not sure how he's doing with it now but i know at the time it was first discovered he said it was only a minor case and nothing to be alarmed about.

Once again darling you have been led by Father God. I have been going through deep grief and when Mark pointed his finger at me telling me God cared I went all tingly inside because I knew He was telling me He did care. I will post it on the page to share how God has used yo once again.

Thanks for posting!! I love to listen to Mark sing because he sings from the heart. I get goose pimples when I listen to him. It's like Jesus is right there with him inside his heart. Mark is such a sweetheart. I hope he never retires either. God Bless you Hoover (Melissa) and Mark vaya con Dios!!

I have to admit, I like the words, but this is not Mark's style. The melody is kind of dragged and it reminds me of old boring movies. But for whoever like it ...

I still think that he sounded so good with the GVB and he should have stay with them and retire from there. I just don't know the reason he left, does anybody know why?
