  • kevin your a good man

  • You dont have to have 2 hands to join NBA(:

  • yeah kevin way to represent FUMA!!!! haha miss you bro and good job!!! your a fucking beast dude

  • This is amazing!!!! I am so happy to see this guy play! He is an inspiration!

  • SICK DUNK AT THE END

  • Inspiration, he went to my high school.

  • he goes to my college

  • @oskalene does he play bball at your college?

  • Weird that NIKE has not taken him up...look at what his not having one fore arm gets him publicity!

He doesn't even have to be in the NBA to be all over the news...now that would be milage out of just a few hundred grand of sponsorship money. Also would it show their atitude toward people with a physical deversity.

  • Wow! thats a great story! Im rooting 4 ya Kevin! Congrats & good luck on the hardwood this year!

  • i was lifting with him and he could do wrist curls like a pro

  • WHAT AN INSPIRATIONAL STORY OMMMMMMMMMMMGG1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!fuuuuuuuuuFCKKINN WILDDD DUDE I SAW HIM PLAY AND HE DID SO WELL

  • I'm curious as to why he doesn't use a prosthetic arm/hand.

  • Probably because he doesn't have any sponsors yet but he's doing excellent anyways.

  • He is gay, right ? I'm kidding. He is awesome, man. I wanna be like him ( not a broken arm), but the skill of basketball !!

  • what an inspiration!!

  • whoa he's amazing. he's truly inspiration to anyone with unique handicaps but with the ability to overcome them!

  • uh oh and he block shots! Everybody RUN!!!!!!

  • In the Bible when the disciples came across a blind man they asked Jesus if the man was born with a disability because he was sinful or because of something his parents did.Jesus responded that the man was born blind so that the power of God could be seen. You are a great source of inspiration Kevin. May God continue to bless you- BALL 4 LIFE!!!

  • Kevin isn't blind...

  • That coach is bad ass! I wish I had a coach like that. My coach was an idiot. He would bench good players and play kids who had size and no heart.

  • keep going kevin....

  • what a badass

  • Wow very inspiring. Keep it up Kevin!

  • good story, hope college goes well for him, pretty amazing to see him hit jumpers, he could kick myh arse in horse

  • wow, i cant believe i know someone famous. haha i go to school with him at amador. crazy

  • THIS IS CRAZY!!!!!!

    keep it up ! kev

  • This guy has an AWESOME attitude!

Best of luck to to buddy!!!

  • Math is for losers who can't play basketball. They are so unathletic they have to go on youtube and hate on inspiring stories.

  • SOMEone is bitter about getting beat up in school...

  • if Lamar Odom can play 10 years in the league without using his right hand, this kid can do it without a left!

  • this is truly an ecouragement to me i have a son the same way , same arm to and it amazes me how my son is capable of doing everithing like a normal kid but i know is nobody but God that he is able to do such thing.

  • yo kevin ur amazing keep continuing to play ur a huge inspiration to us all dont stop playing this shows that if u put ur mind to something no one can stop u

  • Incridible story, I agree with everyone who's said that this kid is an inspiration to us all. The motivation & determination he plays with should be inspiring to all of us. Good luck @ Manhattan College Kevin, & may God Bless everything that you do in life. I swear, I love stories like this....

  • doesn't really look like a 6ft 10, i'll say 6ft7.

i'm 6ft 5 and can dunk so much ease

  • check the posted date; this video was 2 years ago. So it's possible that he was 6'7" then. I can see a high school kid grow 3 inches in 2 years.

  • Trust me he's 6 ft 10 I was on his team. He actually might be 6 ft. 11 now. Our team was huge in high school so he might not look that big on this video.

  • Best Luck at Manhattan Kevin. You're motivation for all of us, will and passion can do everything.

  • What a motivation for everyone. God bless and best of luck at Manhattan College Kevin.

  • Fantastic, And facinating.

  • coach collins was the coach that coached after coach carter in richmond. He is one of the best coaches in california. I go to school with kevin and he is a beast.

  • ha. he has such a great coach.

  • Great to see a post by a former teammate! I'm so impressed by this young man, and hope Kevin has a great college basketball career. With his height, ability to palm the ball in one hand, and techniques to compensate for his missing hand, I'm sure he'll go on to great things. May God bless him!

  • I played with Kevin on my high school team. In one of the toughest leagues in California he proved he was amazing even with one arm. During our playoff game he blocked a 6 foot 8 kid being recruited to a D1 school 9 times. Trust me he belongs at that level. Best of luck at Manhattan Kevin.

  • What a tragic disability-the red hair I mean.

  • lol. good one.

  • Make him go left!

But seriously, best of luck to the kid.

  • Welcome to the MAAC.

  • Great story but notice they did not show him posting up, going to be hard without an off hand. Read the story in the times and it appears that Brother Scanlan had a big influence on his recruitment... great.

  • You gotta really hand it to this kid. It will be hard as teams will double team and overplay him to the right. Guess he will have to have a great spin move if he wants to go left

  • Gotta really "hand" it to this kid... nice one, dude! Cause he's only got one! Man, that shit's funny.

  • Actually, I didn't think of this as a pun but rather was making a serious observation.

Kevin's not the first high profile one handed athlete. How about the Major League pitcher Jim Abbot? I think basketball would be more difficult though.

  • congrats to this guy! hope he kills it in Manhattan!

  • amazing and inspirational!

  • keep ur head up buddy! u better kill it up there in manhattan!!! good luck

  • Scouts Inc. gave him a scouts grade of (82). Which is considered a High Major Prospect coming out of high school. Pretty impressive. Good luck at Manhattan.

  • best of luck kevin!

  • This guy just signed with the Jaspers in New York City! Now he's up against Saint John's, Seton Hall, Rutgers Hofstra & Fordham. This will be VERY interesting! Congrats to him & good luck!

His first game at Madison Square Garden will be back cover stuff!

  • Good Luck!

  • go kevin, i wish you luck!

  • this guy goes to my school and is a good friend.

  • used to play aau with this guy, he is really nice and cool guy to talk to

  • respect!!!

  • respect!!!

  • Are you seriously arguing that he might be worse if he had 2 arms? Thats the most retarded thing ive ever heard. Hes 6'10 and obviously coordinated and athletic, and if thats not potential for future NBA, than i dont kno wat is. I dont think he thinks he could be in the NBA rite now if he had 2 arms, but he knows he could have definitely had a shot especially when he became older and matured more to an adult . He would without a doubt be better with 2 arms, without a doubt. Lets get serious now

  • And am I to ignore the 11 spelling and punctuation errors also? Pay attention in class and stay off the iPod junior, then maybe I'll care "wut u think bout my opinion".

  • haha seriously? im actually a very good speller.. but i didnt know we were getting graded on our video posts.. oh wait.. were not.. bitch.. PS I am way smarter than you will ever be. "With two arms, he might be another 6'10" clod with bad feet and no 15 foot turnaround." Yea dude.. with two arms, he would probably be worse.. haha okay dude, am i supposed to ignore the fact that your a retard?

  • Here's a little tip. If you are intent on pointing out your intelligence to me be sure to use the correct form of you're.

  • Grow up! People like you are the very worse this society has to offer. The kid has one arm and is playing ball like no other. Yet you've managed to look beyond that to comment on his perceived arrogance? Get a life asshole!

And this is not a classroom therefore a person's comment loses zero relevance because he/she chooses not to use "correct" grammar. Fact of the matter is decadoc, you're a hater and a coward. You likely wouldn't say half shit you say on the internet to anyone's face.

  • I think you need to go back and read my original post. All of you. I was praising him for his ability to adapt you idiots. Two armed, he may not have had the skill set to make himself into the quality player he became.

Amazing the personal motive people make out of a blind posting on youtube. Every class is an English class King.

"Ignorant people think it's the noise which fighting cats make that is so aggravating, but it ain't so; it's the sickening grammar they use. "

    -Mark Twain

  • wow

    incredible dude

  • what an awesome story...Kevin is quite an inspiration and clearly one talented basketball player. Wow.

  • Heh, I'd like to see Laue and Porter Elliot play against each other. Although, heads up is a different game...

  • My brother-in-law has one hand and is a doctor. Its just amazing how people overcome stuff like this.

  • haha yea my left arm is partially paralyzed and i play basketball and do everything with my right arm.. 1 year I was an alcoholic and got kicked out of the navy, got in a car crash and messed up my arm.. now im a junior in college gettin my degree to be an acccountant and to be honest with you that was prob the best thing that ever happenned to me.. weird how things work out sometimes

  • he is seriously their best player. its so cool

  • hes awesome its cool that he has one hand like me and plays sports

  • man i wish i coluld meet you i think itd be cool to meet another person with one hand

  • Dude your awesome my names sam im from illinois and i also have one hand im a freshman and 6 4 and play footbal baseball and basketball i know how it is man it cool that your just like me.

  • yeah this kid can deff play in the nba if he had two arms..but he really though with one

  • Yo I didn't know this dude was in TV. He is in my school.
