SO let me get this straight,Cyclone (or Cyclonus?) is originally an Autobot, Starscream originally a Decepticon, Hot Shot AND Bumble Bee Co-existed together, not implying that one came before the other AND that Optimus Prime is still dead even though Ultra Magnus was put back together like a Bionicle set?
@KingofWar07 Cyclonus was either Skywarp or Bombshell (it's been debated). Starscream has always been a Decepticon. And do you mean Hot Rod, because the name Hot Shot didn't debut until Robots In Disguise (as the Autobot SpyChanges leader). My guess is that all the new Season 3/80s movie Autobots were always around just on Cybertron.

Unicron says cyclonus the worrior and reforms them then the bombshell cyclonus flys off and he says and his armada and the rest follow. So why would you think when unicron said cyclonus the worrior that he was talking about the guy way in the distance and the armada was the guy that cyclonus followed after unicrons says and his armada. Its interesting how Blaster is the only one to stay behind & work on the repairs for Autobotcity on earth while the rest go to save Cybertron in the two shuttles. Also notice how Sunstreaker shows up twice in the moive? Once with Kup, Huffer, Bluestreak&one other as Kup says "Whats the darn fool doing now" as Hot Rod attacks the shuttle & then 2nd time when Prime and the Dinobots show up on earth. Id like to beleive that its Sunstreakers "brother" Sideswipe thats with Kup & crew painted wrong :P
Really it doesn't matter how old you are or which series of Transformers you grew up watching, bottom line is that without the original Generation 1, the phenomenon wouldn't have been as popular as it is today, every thing about the later series can have some form of origin trace back to G1, which means no matter the series you watch you always get a feel of G1 nostalgia in what you watch, even the Bay movies have some link as hated as those films are...

G-1 autobots killed in movie/storyboards/cartoon continuity: Optimus, Ironhide, Prowl, Ratchet, Brawn, Wheeljack, Windcharger, Trailbreaker, Mirage, Red Alert, Huffer. G-1 autobots still alive at end or at least last seen alive: Bumblebee, Jazz, Cliffjumper, Hound, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, Bluestreak, Tracks, Blaster, Perceptor. Seems like Dead Team would kick Alive Team's ass. Well except they can't cuz they're dead.
The surviving autobots could have accompanied the rest of the cast that was introduced in this movie. But strangely, only Clffjumper, Bumble Bee and Jazz were seen to appear in season 3 while the rest were discarded.
@MDthornton83 I think Blaster and Perceptor appear as well, along with the Dinobots, the Aerialbots and the Protectobots.Which leaves Gears, Hoist and Grapple in the disappeared category and Smokescreen and Inferno in the killed in storyboards category.And Skids but he was only in two episodes.
@dbooker34Im guessing when Mirage&Red Alert die was part of the rows of bodies that Arcee was supposed to drag Windcharger threw in the original story boards? @SirRembrant Remember, Optimus Prime was rebuilt by Alpha Trion...so that's how Orion Pax got not only the new body aka Optimus Prime but the Matrix because Alpha Trion knew he would be the leader of the Autobots.

Its interesting how Blaster is the only one to stay behind & work on the repairs for Autobotcity on earth while the rest go to save Cybertron in the two shuttles. Also notice how Sunstreaker shows up twice in the moive? Once with Kup, Huffer, Bluestreak&one other as Kup says "Whats the darn fool doing now" as Hot Rod attacks the shuttle & then 2nd time when Prime and the Dinobots show up on earth. Id like to beleive that its Sunstreakers "brother" Sideswipe thats with Kup & crew painted wrong :P

Really it doesn't matter how old you are or which series of Transformers you grew up watching, bottom line is that without the original Generation 1, the phenomenon wouldn't have been as popular as it is today, every thing about the later series can have some form of origin trace back to G1, which means no matter the series you watch you always get a feel of G1 nostalgia in what you watch, even the Bay movies have some link as hated as those films are...

G-1 autobots killed in movie/storyboards/cartoon continuity: Optimus, Ironhide, Prowl, Ratchet, Brawn, Wheeljack, Windcharger, Trailbreaker, Mirage, Red Alert, Huffer. G-1 autobots still alive at end or at least last seen alive: Bumblebee, Jazz, Cliffjumper, Hound, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, Bluestreak, Tracks, Blaster, Perceptor. Seems like Dead Team would kick Alive Team's ass. Well except they can't cuz they're dead.

The surviving autobots could have accompanied the rest of the cast that was introduced in this movie. But strangely, only Clffjumper, Bumble Bee and Jazz were seen to appear in season 3 while the rest were discarded.

@MDthornton83 I think Blaster and Perceptor appear as well, along with the Dinobots, the Aerialbots and the Protectobots.Which leaves Gears, Hoist and Grapple in the disappeared category and Smokescreen and Inferno in the killed in storyboards category.And Skids but he was only in two episodes.

Even americans didn't connect all the series...G1 has nothing to do with RID for example. And G1 cartoon adn comics (which are better, IMO) are different stories. There are lot of different transformers series. If Optimus dies in G1 movie, he can be still alive in other continuums.
