What ruins this tune for me is that you can hear the heavy breathing of the cello player in the quiet moments. Brilliant piece but spoiled by the breathing unfortunately

@Clank007 I may be wrong, but I actually think that is the bow stroke you are hearing! I think it really adds to the authenticity and reality of the piece! Perfect is boring, almost robotic. This is much more human and compassionate.

Uh, I only just heard this song earlier today. I just happened to turn to the classical radio station that's next to 101.7 The Fox. So I sat there a minute and this song was played. I guess it's just soothing to me.

This is one of my favourite pieces and one which inspired me to take up piano funnily enough considering the piano only has a backing role in this piece compared to a lot of Einaudi's other pieces. Beautiful none the less.
