I grew up in a family that hunted. We were taught that you only hunt for food, NEVER for sport! You learned how to shoot FIRST, so as to not allow an animal to suffer. I no longer hunt, because I don't need to for my food. Trophy and sport hunting is wrong. Hunters who feel that they are "MEN" for being able to kill an animal with a high-powered rifle, or with a pack of dogs, or by whatever other means they can where they have a true advantage over the animal, are not men at all.

This is depressing. I agree that this form of hunting is cruel and cowardly. They make sure that they're the only ones doing the harming. Although I agree that some populations need to be controlled (white tailed deer in the U.S.), there should be a close watch on even those populations and hunting should be banned for all endangered animals.

I hate hunting, it is childish and cruel and frankly obscene for anyone to hunt purely for 'thrills' but this sort of canned hunting even when viewed from a hunter's point of view is neither clever nor skillful nor brave, it is a form of cowardly cheating just to aquire a trophy to show off with.

By "real hunters," do you mean those who hunt for survival or those who murder for a sense of pride? Canned hunting is one of the worst forms, but sport hunting of any kind is immoral, unethical, and eventually illegal.

hunting is a form of population control.. it is also a tradition in the US.. "real hunters" go out, track the game, kill it, clean it, and EAT it outside of a pen... but, if you would rather eat an animal that has been raised in a pen to be butchered for meat, then go ahead, or if u want to kill a "poor harmless plant", be my guest, in my opinion people like you are no better than the canned hunters.. both are hypocrites, and both have no sense of reality...

Killing animals in restricted circumstances and with high-powered rifles and no risk to the 'hunters' is unbelievably cowardly. They can't be called hunters when there is no 'hunt'. And with the animal populations dying off, and they go in and kill them even faster, well... how else do you define mental illness? This is what i have been fighting against but as long people book volunteer programs, there will be a need for little lions are a surplus of adults.A lot of volunteers think they spend $2000 and more on helping the animals, but in fact they help the mafia to raise the animals for hunting and they even pay for that. now who's stupid. Reilly such a good point - can not even do it in his own country to feed his family - although I do not eat animals in any form or otherwise there are people who would perish if not able to hunt and it is not fair to a man in his own country when rich game hunters are allowed the privilege to "murder".
