So what lights are you running in this video? Everything looks good. As far as bubble Wand comment below don't pay attention to it. I have air pumping in my tank after I got rocked with bad algae bloom. research shows air is good for breakdown of nutrients. Get back to me about the lights please.
Please help I have the exact same fish tank I want to start a set up exactly like that 55 gallon salt water tank what would I need to get that tank running and please let me know the price range for the things i would need thank you in advanced.
definitely 1 of the best aquariums ive seen!!!!hey cn any1 tellme pleas!!!i had a niger trigger and a batfish!!!!the niger ate the entire fins of the late batfish!!!is it common???i mean their behaviour is it common like whn kept togethr will bite eachothr off????
NEED HELP*. why is there brown stuff growing on my sand/ rocks i keep sucking it out with a water vac but it keeps growing back. any hints on what this is? or how to get rid of it?
@RRDTGB Its brown algea, its not generally harmful to your tank. But its very un-atractive. Some pet stores sell a liquid that will get rid of it. But here that liquid is about 25 dollars for about 20 mL.
Whoah all the uptight salt water police people who just find videos to fight over things that arent huge deals even need to calm down and go scrub their algae from their tank or feed their fish and then count to like a million. LoL
lol people that dont know eachother fighting lol nice get up dude but i would get rid of the bubbles if it were me . apperntly bubbles are bad in a salt water so ive herd .
this tank is VERY overstocked you are going to have to get rid of a lot of those fish dude, the tangs, angels and butterflys are all pushing the bioload of this tank by A LOT. Shouldnt mix species of angels too dude, and the rule for a 55 is generally one angel per =/
@Sarrixx I totally agree. I'd personnaly take out the angels all together. Unless those are dwarf angels like the coral beauty in there, they're going to be huge when they fully grow.... The tang will grow also, so maybe just one tang for a 55 is correct. more live rock wouldn't hurt either. beautiful set up otherwise....
@Sarrixx i have seen several "angelfish tanks" and never seen a problem, i dont know what your talking about with the mixing of diff species. my friend has a 150 gallon with an emperor angel, flame, bi-color, coral beauty, and several others and its been set up and doing fine for over 10 years.
very nice

Is it "okay" to use a freshwater hood for a saltwater tank???
ihavenocredits 1 year ago
very cool but i thought adding bubbles to saltwater was a no no for salt water
chronix0111 1 year ago
@chronix0111 its not a no no but it makes salt water spill and dry up and makes your floor stand etc look ugly

@chronix0111 it is a no it makes nitrates which is A bad THING

I am going to upgrade to a 125 or 150 Gallon Tank eventually to accommodate the Larger Fish. The Sailfin Tang reaches 16 Inches in Length!
