This is not free energy. All it is is the magnetic attraction from the ring magnet pulling the disk+ball around the table. Because of the contact point of the ball on the table the diameter of the circle it forms is very small, so it has a small circumference. This means that for a very small movement, the ball will rotate quite rapidly.
You could do this with the ball on its own. Put the ball on a stock, and move it about on the floor. It will spin very fast...
If you have to move the outer ring of magnets to get the inner magnets to spin continuously, you are already inputing some energy (your hand energy) to get it to spin, which means it isn' free energy (as you understand it) at all. The free energy magnet motor which many are trying to fabricate works on the premise that their machines are trying to somehow tapped into the magnetic field ( and thus energy) of the earth. If you can achieve that, then it is "free" energy.

The problem with this machine is the fact that you must hold it for the object to move, the washer isn't enough to throw your magnetic field to imbalance, the minute movements of your hands do that.
"A little crude" is an understatement, because it cannot work in a stationary position makes it impossible.
How about gyroscopically stabilized magnets (like the "Levitron" toys?) 1) Look at a video of the "Levitron" toy. 2) Imagine a Copper Coil "around" the spinning/hovering magnet. The center magnet is simply being held vertical by the ring. Nothing special there. The rotation is due to the tilted axis of the sphere being dragged across the counter surface. The contact point is very slightly off axis and applies a torque. The faster you move it the faster it will go. Also it needs to tilt off-axis more to get it going.

Imagine a top leaning slightly over, now apply a lateral force to it. In order for it to move the top must spin. The bottom of the top has a tiny circle surface, like a small gear on a bicycle. To move 1 mm across the table the top must turn 1 or more full revolutions. To move across the table you push it, it spins faster and faster and the little round tip of the top rotates like a leaning tire.

You might wanna find a way to get the outer magnet ring to rotate in order for the inner one to stay at the same place and not have to move the whole thing... So lets put it this way, find a way to make the inner ring stationary (that it doesnt move at all, and make the outer ring the one that moves(rotates)... like that you can encase it in such a way that you'll be able to sell it... ..George Green demonstrated the same physics of propulsion as Stan Deyo has done. Stan Deyo also revealed the same physics but he used electromagnets. Mr. Deyo also worked for the military-industrial complex and even states in his video that he is now "unveiling" what has been kept secret ( or at most obfuscated ) to the general public in what I think is a change of goals in the world of black projects. So your question is, how is it that Stan Deyo and George Green have the same answers?
I don't know how this got classified as a free energy demo but if you remember from George Green's video he mentioned that this a model of how his "alien" contacts told him that their ship used to propel itself. That being said, I think Mr. Green at the time was still using the old psy-op practice mixing truth with lies. I'm not going to read through 1400+ comments to see if someone mentioned this but here goes.
The center magnet is simply being held vertical by the ring. Nothing special there. The rotation is due to the tilted axis of the sphere being dragged across the counter surface. The contact point is very slightly off axis and applies a torque. The faster you move it the faster it will go. Also it needs to tilt off-axis more to get it going.
If you lubricate the marble it won't spin.

@ActiveStorage Actually heat and light that come from the closest star "sun" is buy far the largest amount of energy you get here. In the end the sun is a huge nuclear generator that will work almost forever.
There are a lot of things that are beyond our perception like magnetism and radiation but we have build devices that can detect this and the energy found on this are an order of magnitude lower that heat we get from the sun.

It just uses the energy of your hand's movements. The mechanism is equivalent to the gyro trainer's one. See "precession" and "nutation" for details.
Fix the rotor at the spin axis and fix the stator so the rotor to be in the center of it and you'll see the effect would disappear.
It's just a funny trick, nothing more.

@abz2000123 What's the logic? Planets are moving with inertia and they does not enlarge their energy. And magnetic field plays almost no role in their orbital movements because the gravity forces are much more stronger in this case.
Look at the river swirl. Did anyone give the places to the leaves and sticks that floats in it or it was "by chance"?

Imagine a top leaning slightly over, now apply a lateral force to it. In order for it to move the top must spin. The bottom of the top has a tiny circle surface, like a small gear on a bicycle. To move 1 mm across the table the top must turn 1 or more full revolutions. To move across the table you push it, it spins faster and faster and the little round tip of the top rotates like a leaning tire.

You might wanna find a way to get the outer magnet ring to rotate in order for the inner one to stay at the same place and not have to move the whole thing... So lets put it this way, find a way to make the inner ring stationary (that it doesnt move at all, and make the outer ring the one that moves(rotates)... like that you can encase it in such a way that you'll be able to sell it... It looks like the sphere is rolling on the table surface. It turns because the axis tilts a little, and the magnetic attraction from the ring makes it want to move sideways so it starts rolling.

George Green models the same torque that is produced as two magnets in this configuration. The result being that there probably is an extremely weak "anti-gravitational" effect atop the permanent magnet. Stan Deyo has DC current passing thru a quartz tube with salt water that also SPINS. George Green must constantly keep the inner circular permanent magnet spinning by moving the outer. I don't know how this got classified as a free energy demo but if you remember from George Green's video he mentioned that this a model of how his "alien" contacts told him that their ship used to propel itself. That being said, I think Mr. Green at the time was still using the old psy-op practice mixing truth with lies. I don't Mr. Green probably still is mixed up heavily with the military-industrial complex but there may be a softening of the policy of keeping the general public from this .

that would work... IF the magnet in the middle were a spinning black hole with an electric field... and the ring outside were a superconductor... then you could slowly convert all of the black hole's rotational energy into electricity. xD
As it is, though, it's only spinning because it slowly tips farther and farther out towards the opposite magnetic charge on the ring, so if you stopped moving your hand, it would move over and stick to the wall.
In short, it's a complete hoax.
