We want to be able to copy files by dragging and dropping them to our mp3 players just like the old days when Creative used to be number one.

We also want to use our own expensive and high quality headphones, not the cheap plastic headphones that Apple provides.

Apple is all about control with their devices and people fall for it and buy their stuff, I feel sorry for these people, this excludes the people that own Macbook and iMac, these machines are very good.

My brother bought a new ipod shuffle just because it looks good and he's now stuck because he can't copy any music without iTunes, he has to delete all the music from his ipod if he wants to copy music from another computer.

I own a Macbook and love it because the operating system is very fast, secure and stable.

But with the ipod and iphone and their other icrap devices Apple have messed it up.

Cannot drag and drop music files, cannot see what you are listening to because it has not screen, and the latest ipod shuffle doesn't even have any buttons just a + for volume up and - for volume down and a button in the middle for play, rewind, forward, you can't even connect you own heaphones to it and you have to use a slow and bloated software to load up music called iTunes.

Now I know why they added the i before it, it's meant for idiot, meaning only idiots buy this crap.

With the 3g model, you literally cannot use any other earbuds/headphones except for the one it comes supplied with. UNLESS you buy adapter, which is about another 20 or 30 dollars. :-/

y is it that my mini in the 5 years i've owned it hasn't broke ONCe and the nano-chrom does? an apple-care lady explained... the more complicated the ipod the more things to break.

What are you talking about? The 3rd gen is also only 79 Bucks, and is the cheapest iPod. The Classic (Largest iPod) is 249, is the most expensive. (Not including the iPhone)
