nice stang, nice sounding exhaust. and slipknot in the background? makes it even better ;) + its their best song IMO. now watch me get trolled/hated on cuz i like slipknot. "liked the video"
yeah but barely any top speed. most racers use short gears. and you still see dragsters trapping at like 140, 160 mph on some runs and they got like 4.56's and stuff. i think longer gears are for like economy and long periods of high rpm and shorter gears are for like racing and fast spurts.
loving the slipknot bro lol

ya can hit overdrive at 35 cant ya!
tropicjester12 2 years ago
Yep, but it lugs pretty bad with the cam surge and even better after the turbo install... Haha
jlmorris 2 years ago
don't 4.11's accelerate faster? and shift faster?
sk8forlife90 2 years ago
Yeah but you have to keep in mind you'll run out of rev space. So if you go 4.11 you lose top speed. I'm actually stepping down to 3.27's soon.

.......I trap 120 around 6,000 rpm in 1/4mile - dropping to 3.27's will help with traction and I'll gain mph in the traps.
jlmorris 2 years ago
yeah traction is extremely important. 3.73's or higher tend to produce excessive amounts of tire spinning.

Picked up some trick flow race head's that are o-ringed for $800. Trying to decide on a stage 1 or stage 2 trick flow cam.
I want the stage 1 to keep low down power, but i think ill be fine with stage 2, as i have 4.10 gears.
what do you think?

Looking good Jerry! I'll be installing cams in my car soon. 4 cams = 4x the fun / cases of beer = pain in the ass!

nice!
now that you have a cam, you have to do the water test.
fill a plastic cup almost to the top with water, when your car is idling, set the cup on the hood, and tape the water dancing!

Wow...that sounds and runs great! Nice smooth ride! :) Jack
