If you don't manage to get the song by ear there's a program called Note Worthy Composer. Just download a song in MIDI format and the program will transfer it to sheets!

There a book put out by Riverdance for easy piano that has this and about 10 other songs in it. The arrangement is no where near as beautiful as this one, but it does the trick.

This is beautiful. You make it dance and float softly, just like it ought to be. It's the sound of a feather gently flying in the breeze.

And I agree with the previous comment; I believe that the original performance would gain by playing it softer. It fits the dancer's performance better I think.

Yes, please share the sheet music if you have it transcribed! This was simply lovely...and unfortunately, the official, overpriced piano book of Riverdance is mostly only one-handed melodies for the piano. That's right. Right hand gets to play maybe a fiddle or flute line; left hand does nothing. In my opinion, that's a bunch of bull. You're a very talented musician; I wish I could just pick out anything I wanted to by ear and then memorize it

Wow man, great work. Love this song. I know the guitar part but I cannot find anybody that can play it on the violin. I love the piano arrangement. Did you do this arrangement or did you get music?great playing. There are a lot of funky rythms and you nail them.

Hey thanks so much :) I learned it by ear - I imagine there may be music out there somewhere, but I just picked it up when I was doing it for a show with some irish dancers and taught myself how to play it. Good luck finding a fiddle player - it's a lot of fun to play :)
