  • I own two horses on is twh.. I would never rack on pavement! Cruel cruel cruel! I am in discust! The poor baby is miserable!

  • haha don't know who that is that said this horse is paceing but they must not be around horses much to see that this horse is racking just wanted to point that out. nice looking horse.

  • To be honest, your horse looks miserable.

    1) His head looks like he is tense and straining.

    2) Riding of pavement is making him pick his feet up from the shock.

    3) your sitting on his kidneys

BTW SADDLE PADS HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS FOR A REASON. Unless you have some amazing supple, custom saddle use a pad!

  • want to comment that horse is racking you can tell by high head, and the rider seat is absolutly still. ever ride a pacing horse? I have your hips bounce from side to side. I have seen people ride a pacer and say it is racking you can see their hips swinging and some bounce too. listen for the four beat sound. pacers is a two beat sound. I dont like roans to much but that horse is cute.

  • JUst Beutiful.....nice rack and color!

  • Great horse fellas!

  • pure class...She is one of the best racking horses I have seen... She never broke... Love that speed . You got yourself something special......

  • I've never seen a horse rack like that...awesome.

  • that is a beautiful horse! but its just that i hate when they do that to the horses head, and also, i hate dressage, and saddleseat. but it is beautiful!

  • what kind is that a teennesse walker or what????

  • @badazzdonatto racking horse

  • Man that horse means business...she has a beautiful walk with precision

  • nice horse she have one of the best front end i ever seen

  • What a brilliant looking horse!!! Love her coloring!

  • man man

  • She's way too hollow-backed here because her head is jacked up way to high. She needs to lower it some and bring her nose in so that she can use her hindquarters correctly. You can tell by how detached they seem from the rest of her. Otherwise this horse has a great racking gait. Well done.

  • what breed is that?? she is lovely..

  • man she is doing that so fast for a while!!!!

  • he needs to get the horse to do a head set

  • nice mare

  • She looks like one comfie mare you have there ^_^ God made her good.

  • real nice check out my video type in road runners riding club we got some real nice walkers its gonna be the first on the list leave a comment and tell me what you think and rate me to

  • looking for some help trying to switch it up im in texas looking for a horse

  • I liked both videos of your horses. you have some nice rackers. i like ppl who tell you how to ride your horse, and think some things are so harsh, which some things are. but different breeds ride with different stuff. not every horse can be rode with the same things as others, thats where alot of people get hurt. i see nothin wrong. great job n keep up the work. i knoe if i wanna racking horse to hollar at

  • Nice ride,had a saddlebred with that same lick,eat a hot dog,drink a beer,never spill a drop.tear's comin outcher eye's,flyin down the road!!!!

  • Thanks great video

  • its shane horse

  • check out my mare on shane horse 123 no bit no saddle

  • Gorgeous horse. I use to have a black and white paint mare who traveled just like her. The only thing i hated about her was she toted her head real high just like yours

  • how will concrete and asphalt damage their hooves?

  • Comment removed

  • That horse is not trotting, it is singlefooting. In this gait, there is no suspension and very little pounding. They generally don't get the same problems that other breeds get because of this gait. These horses can go on pavement all day long, every day and not get splints or cracked hooves. If they get any kind of lameness, it is usually well into old age and it is usually in their backs and hips.

  • Ahhh I see. I didnt know that. Sorry I prob shouldnt comment if Im not sure. Lol. Thanks for letting me know. Quite interesting actually. :)

  • There is nothing wrong with commenting. That is how you learn. These horses aren't very well known outside of certain little pockets where they are popular. I've had one, and she was sound enough to ride at this gait right up until she died at 28.

  • BEAUTIFUL RACKER !!!

  • Do you need to have the curb bit? I used to ride Icelandics and they would work great with a simple snaffle.

  • very good horse and rider. but ooommmggg you should never ride your horse on the street. it is so bad for their hooves and their bones. you guys are lucky that the horse didint slip esecially if it was wearing shoes....

  • Not true with a racking horse. There is no suspension in their gait and they don't beat their feet and legs up like other breeds do. They can do this on pavement into their twenties and thirties without hurting themselves because their body weight never crashes down on their feet and ankles at a rack like it does at a trot or gallop.

  • what are u talkin about

    userunavailable3095

  • I'm replying to the comment above. While its true that riding on pavement is very bad for a trotting or galloping horse, it doesn't bother a racking horse as there is no suspension phase to the rack as there is to the trot or gallop. Since the horse's weight is never lifted off the ground and dropped onto the feet and ankles as it is in a trot, their feet and ankles don't take the beating on pavement that a trotting horse would. They also don't slip as easily for the same reason.

  • my uncle got him something boy she will rack

  • @userunavailable3095 ohh, like , they transfer their weight so smoothly that...yeah

  • Oh my goodness - good God Almighty is right! She is amazing, and your rider is too! I have two TWH's - how do I get them to do this???

  • You have a pretty Racking horse. Great Rack. But the concrete and road will seriously damage her hooves, even if he does have shoes on.

  • Nice Horse!

  • Is this mare for sale?

  • gorgeous horse!

  • Mane, all I can say is that horse is toting the mail.. That's beautiful.

  • Sho nuff rackin'!...Beautiful!

  • What does riding on a horse that is racking feel like? And is racking tiring for a horse? Just wanna know. X3

  • If the horse is racking well, square all the way around and not crow-hopping, all you get is a little jiggle in the pelvis and thrilling speed. The gait is extremely efficient, and a good racking horse who is fairly fit can go miles at this pace. They do eventually tire and need to rest, but not like they do at a trot or gallop as there is no suspension in this gait and they aren't lifting their body upwards with every stride.

  • o my. he is beautiful! he lokos quite comfy

  • I just noticed you are in Alabama...I am also. Several people have asked if she is for sale. Do you train and sell horses? Is that one for sale and what is the price. I have a few of my own that I train and show.

  • Wow!!! You do have a great racking horse!! Beautiful rack. The only thing is, the way she is hollowed out and her head is set--after time, she will get very sore. You can lower your hands and ask her to bring her head down to accept the bit. She is avoiding contact with her head in the air. A more rounded out frame will build better muscles that will help her do her job. She has suck a willing attitude. Help her and she will be GREAT!!!

  • you got a good square horse sits deep in the rear and a good frontend and got a good lick

  • i <3 sabinos! pretty mare, she moves out very nicely :)

  • that horse is pacing

  • this horse is NOT pacing it is racking!!!!

  • Pacing? LOL... Have you lost your mind? If that horse is pacing then I'm Reggie Miller. That horse is so square its trotty.

  • I have to agree with the others. If you really think that horse is pacing, you need to be exposed to more breeds and more gaits.

    That's the Rack.

  • @rackingman1 Pacing is both legs on the same side moving at the same time. This can clearly be seen in a pacer as they have a distinct side to side motion. Racking horses are called single-footers because only one foot is on the ground at a time.

  • @rackingman1

    your retarded

  • the horse maybe a twh , but the horse is racking ...

  • yea you are right its a twh that racks my bad

  • the horse would make a great flat shod/country pleasure show horse (maybe speed depending on how fast she can go ) if you could get the head set a little lower . since the front end is great !

  • Is this horse racking or pacing?

  • How heavy of a shoe do you have on the front?

  • Oooooowee! That's a good looking ride! Smooth as silk I'll bet! She's a beauty! :)

  • She's gorgeous man. love the bald face and colors on her. gooood racking horse

  • LOL, the horse is just like "Cruise" xD! Really pretty!!! The movement is just awesome, good riding.

  • What a cool mare!

  • that looks funny!

  • Very nice horse. Lovely gait as well. My Tennesee Walker racks and it's very comfortable to ride. It's so much smoother than the choppy trot I used to ride on the Quarter Horses.

    Anyway, great horse. :)

  • Gorgeous color! amazing gait too! that would be so comfortable bareback! WOW!

  • Once had a Gelding just like her. Have you got anymore in your barn????

    Oh yea, Roll Tide.....

  • im in love...that horse is georgeous. nice color, and stunning leg movement.

  • Dang! What a super fun and flashy horse! I love how she travels up front! Tell me, how do you prevent road founder going in the street like that? I notice all the racking horse vids are done on pavement...is that just to let viewers hear the cadence of the footfalls? Really nice horse...if I didn't love my half arab so much, I'd get a racking horse--looks like even with a bad back you can ride and get jiggy!

  • yea you can hear the cadence pretty good with the pavement

  • Very beautiful horse! She seems like a real hard worker. Love her color!

  • What breed is she?

  • Wow, what a beautiful horse!

  • yes the horse has shoes on cant you hear them!?

  • She's absolutely gorgeous! I envy you this horse lol.

  • he looks exactly like a horse at my barn

  • she is gorgeous!

i would love to see a video of her at full speed! but about her headset, as long as she is smooth (and it looks like she is) & she places in the ring, i wouldn't worry about it..but if you do want to fix it ..try some 8 inch weighted shanks and bring your hands down to where they are almost touching her withers. but her neck looks thick so she might not be able to tuck very well i know some horses who try but just can't do it! lol

  • wow, this horse is cool! love it!

  • aw - i love that horses colouring

  • Awesome horse! I have a Rocky Mountain gelding who could be her twin!

  • That´s a great horse, because I could tell at times that she wanted him to turn her loose, so she could get down and show us what she really can do:)

  • Glad to see a brother riding a good horse!

  • name your price for this horse

  • one of the nicest racking horses i have ever seen

  • I personally am not a fan of horses like this, high steppers i guess. but This horse is honestly beautifl! I would love to own this one

  • Yall have any to sell??

  • Nice Racking horse, look like some produced in North Carolina...I see in Brewton, Alabama is where it is going down...Lookin good my friend.

  • what a beautifull horse and great motion. what breed is it?

  • She looks great! I agree with bringing her face in a little, loose some of that hollow back - but she is terrific. How long under saddle? and what kind of shoes? I hope to see her again soon. Thanks for posting your video.

    Rachel

  • Very nice rack going on there. Love the color, too. Has a good front end and back end, but she needs to have her nose pulled in a bit more. B/c now, with her head up like that, she's traveling with a hollow back. I like my horses to have a better headset, but otherwise, I LOVE HER!

  • WOW great horse. Very nice front end, pull that nose in and look out! Love all the color also! Keep up the good work!

  • Is she for sale?

  • goergous horse! i want her! lol her rack looks soooo comfortable!
