@HattieLovesCattie But it's not supposed to go far down enough that you flinch. You should know that given all the ear cleaning videos you watch. This is almost the only ear cleaning video I've seen where the person looks as if they are in perpetual amounts of pain while it's happening.

Yes there is a certain nerve in the ear canal that, if pushed hard enough, can travel and cause a tickling sensation in the throat. I've hit it enough times with qtips.

Good lord, I just noticed how deep he's going with that picker. Most of the metal part of the picker completely disappears into th ear.

He must be close to the eardrum to make him cough like that.

In my experience, once you go past a certain depth, it hurts more than it feels good, unless that guy has a very very light touch.

Mostly amazing. Coughing is normal if he hits the right spot. Definitely a MUST try. They extract so much more wax than what you can clean yourself with regular ear picks.

It's good if you cough, really? All of the other ear cleaning videos I've seen (Chinese style, Japanese style, Indian style), they've never coughed before.

@bboyvic I am a Vietnamese, I do this everyday for my white bf. He loves it. The man coughed and ear cleanning don't have any relationship. The cleaner puts wax on the man's arm because he want to show the man how dirty his ears are, and how good he does the job.

Trust me, if u try this, with a good cleaner, you will love this more than i love money

@HattieLovesCattie I think it's illegal in the US. You're not supposed to provide this service unless you have a medical license. In Vietnam or Japan, it seems like this service is seen more as a service like massage or cutting hair.

David Letterman once made fun of a print ad which advertised "Chinese ear cleaning". He had absolutely no idea what service they were providing. That place doesn't exist anymore.

I would love to visit these countries just to experience this kind of service.

@sleazybtd Interesting about Letterman as I saw a pix or two of some stars and they had an ear full of wax and Letterman was disgusted by it.Maybe that is when he made the " Chinese ear cleaning " comment.:) The "my earpick " video on YT mentions a place in the Westminister,CA. area that does the ear cleaning.I used to live near that town,dang.
