  • I want to put a saddle on one and ride it.

  • Ok... What are the chances of evolution making such a fucked up creature??

  • @LynxenX fucked up? In what sense? Fast runner, huge claws, super long tongue, lots of fur, makes it seems bigger and scares possible predators. Sounds perfect. Just looks weird.

  • @LynxenX only evolution could make something so ridiculous

  • That would be one of the coolest pets ever.....except for the times it digs up your nose and mouth when you sleep.

  • wow!!!a small insect that the ant eater eat will grow them that big???truly amzing

  • they eat like tens of thousands per day, and insects are full of proteins.

  • And they are also totally awesome.

  • Cuuute~ I can't get enough of these things XD

  • And people say animals in Australia are weird. I can't believe that is a real thing.

  • @babyteal2 Indeed. South America evolved as an island-continent for 40 million years. In this period it was inhabited by the strangest animals you've seen including giant horse-eating birds and saber-toothed marsupials. Then when Central America emerged all kinds of animals got in from the north and many others got extinguished, but the car sized armadillios and elephant sized sloths and other wonderous creatures survived until maybe as little as 8000 years ago. Which is last monday in geology.

  • @babyteal2 but our anteater is spiny like a porcupine, and lays eggs like a bird, beat that!

  • anteaters looks like small elephants, with a hair

  • That anteater looks kinda scary! I prefer the Lesser Anteater, that one is cool!

  • it looks so exotic and different that other mammals

  • This giant anteaters are very common in Brazil, in a region called Pantanal.

They're called Tamandua-Bandeira, translated word by word means Tamandua-Flag.

The regular Tamandua, the small one is called Tamandua-Mirim or in english Tamandua-Junior.

  • anteaters are giant sloths

  • Kill that thing!! What in the world is worng with you!!

  • Yeah quick, it's after ye brains!

But it might be too late...

  • Unusually cute, kinda reminds me of some made up Star Wars animal.

  • It is the coolest looking animal. Like a muppet bred with an ancient animal god.

  • better yet, someone should kill you.

  • Are you interested in buying a life? :D

  • not a worthless one.. go anchor down in the ocean where the fish can at least get some use out of you.

  • Why not let from in front of your monitor and go job a few miles instead of arguing with children over the net? I'd bet your local burger king is the only place getting use of you, pal.

  • Hopefully you're not a gambling man...

  • Why does it look so strange?

Is it some kind of monster?

  • edles tier
