  • Best Bomb Diggity!

  • 2:31 to 2:49 Big Al is magic! He can use two hands to mix, then telepathically suspend the camera in mid air.

  • have a question al dose that mixture crack or srink I never used it I always use watter putty becanse it dont srink I usualy mix my coloer in to my mixture when I poor it in I dont paint it but I will have to try that because when my mixture drys it forces the color out to the top or out side so I will have to try the color after I make the road or por the road good infor.

  • Al, quick question. I watched your video and added the mixture over a track leading to an industry on my layout. I mistakenly added the color mixture to the plaster so that it would be a SOLID color all the way through, so if its chipped it doesn't turn white. Have you tried this? The only problem I have is that the damn thing is taking FOREVER to dry. I don't think I'll do that again.

  • Yes I have done that many times before. It does take a tiny bit longer to dry but not much. It all depends on how thick the mixture is? The one I did without pigment in it took about three days to fully dry in my basement. Up in my house it would take 2 days or less. Just different places.

The pigment adding is actually VERY GOOD. You had a good idea that I should have explained. It does work well. Your thought is right. if chipped the color will not be white. Patience youve done fine

  • Its finally started to dry 2 days later. However I'm seeing cracks develop. I'm thinking of Putting another "thicker" layer over it after its completely dry. Then just paint like you did.

  • Hey, Al! Your are amazing at this! For when you were talking about different colors, having a darker tone on one sign actually could look like where they re-did the roads.Ya know?

    Keep rollin' on!

  • That looks pretty simple! Is that an index card you are using with the Smooth-It?

  • NO, The plastic smoother thingy is inside the package of the pavement tape. That is what I am using there.
