  • @TheIntolerantAtheist You might as well remove this comment as you've removed your others. Just like them, it makes no sense.

At least you realized the error of your ways and removed all your other comments. Congratulations!

  • The funny thing about this is if Jesse Helms could see all the hatefull bull shit the liberals say about him he would have a huge grin on his face and would laugh. So, keep it up, ya aint hurting anyone including Jesse Helms by telling lies. The man hated liberalism and socialism and spent his entire career fighting it. As someone who was one of his constituents I am proud that he was my representative.

  • @BradNC11175 I am sure a lot of nazis felt the same way once Adolf passed away.

  • PipeFriendCHS: I am sure they did. I am sure many liberal idiots feel the same about Red Ted Kennedy too. But whats interesting is that Hitler was a Socialist, much like Red Ted Kennedy was. I wonder if Jesse Helms is kicking Ted's ass in the after life like he did all these years down here? lol

  • @BradNC11175 :-)

  • PipeFriendCHS: Now thats a highly intelligent reply lol. Whats the matter big shot? Ya like to do videos attacking dead guys but don't like talking with ones that can talk back? How impressive lol.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist I am sure that with a screen name like yours you would be far more reasonable lol? A "fundie"? What the fuck is that dick head, you been watching to much Harry Potter? Go hump someone else's leg bitch.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Ah yeah I am sure your insignificant little ass has such an important role to play. Much like the fag smoking the pipe here in the clip you do not impress me. Back to the playground with you little one and yes you are a little leg humper.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Your comment you removed: "No, but in two weeks we're getting Eugenie Scott and some kid in Kentucky together, the kid is trying to file a lawsuit to overturn a creationist teaching-only law in his country and she's going to help defend him and get the ball rolling legally."

Why did you remove it, did it sound as stupid after consideration as it did to me lol? Your a fucking idiot. As I said, run along little peeon lol.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Riding around on dinosaurs? Wherever did you come up with that? Too much wacky tobacky in your pipe?

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Aww that's ok, Jesus loves you even if your to dumb to know it. I forgive you my child and will pray that your sins don't lead you to an eternity in Hell. Clearly the dark forces have gotten ahold of you and made you the foolish little imp you have become. I feel pitty for you and wish you well my foolish little friend. As I said, Jesus loves you.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist 'Twould appear based upon your observation that you have an important choice to make.

At least you have the luxury of knowing the existence of the Gospel. Your knowledge of history and geography need a little polishing, however.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist "whome"? I guess you mean who or whom, but if so, you should brush up on the use of object pronouns.

Alaska is pretty big. You shouldn't be having trouble finding it on a map. Are you sure you're not just looking at a road map of where you live? That's not going to work.

If you want to believe Africa is a country, go ahead. That's far less a mistake than believing there is no God.

What is a "right winger"? How many have you polled? What was your control group?

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist My, you have a flair for the dramatic! And so proficient at "straw man" arguments to boot! Beats making a point of any substance, I suppose.

Deficiencies in government schools are caused by teachers indoctrinated in Secular Humanism who avoid basic knowledge in favor of social tinkering nonsense.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Jesus love you even when you are to foolish to accept it. I'll pray for your forgivness foolish little imp.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist If there is no evidence that Jesus is real why would there be any evidence that He hates homosexuals lol? What is your evidence that homosexuality is in any way natural, normal or should be considered acceptable to anyone who finds it to be anything less than the fetish of degenerates?

  • Comment removed

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist There are guys who masterbate to their vehicles. There are people who find animals sexually stimulating. There are people who find their own siblings sexually appealing as well. By your logic all of the above are perfectly normal and there is nothing abnormal to these nuts either. Jesus does not hate homosexuals nore should His followers. But in both the Old Testement and New homosexuality is unacceptable and is a sin in the eyes of God. That's between you and God not me.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Your right, what goes on between two adults behind closed doors is none of my business. But don't try and tell me I have to accept what these people do as normal and treat them as equals. Don't force your life style down my throat and try to teach kids in school that there is nothing wrong with what your doing. Don't try and convince me that there is nothing wrong with what your doing when I know better. So is incest amongst acceptable for people over 18 years old?

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Based on what I can gather reading your comments you do not sound like you are 100% certain that there is no God or that the Jewdeau Christian Bible is a hoax. You seem kinda sure but not entirely sure. This leads me to believe you have chosen a lifestyle that you know is not acceptable in the eyes of God and are perfectly content to do so while you are just trying to convince yourself you may not burn in hell for the choices you've made. You had better hope your right.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist True but as far as we know there is no certain ramifications for your denial of the "magic teapot orbiting Jupiter". When you say there may or may not have ever been a man named Jesus Christ and then claim that there is no evidence that Jesus hated homosexuals it seems to me that your not entirely certain that there are no ramifications for denial of Christ or for a homosexual life style. Perhaps you should be certain before you continue to offend God without regard?

  • Comment removed

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Faith is is believing in or refusing to believe in something that can not be proven or disproven without certainty. The Jewdeau Christian God wants faith from His followers. He gave us free will to deny or accept Him, to obey or disobey Him as well. That's a choice we all have to make for ourselves and we are all equally free to make our choice. I can't prove to you or anyone that God exists or that the Jewdeau Christian Bible is 100% true. But I know with certainty it is.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Where did you come up with this "Judean Desert" origin for God? Been reading too much of mohammed's little fairy tale?

Whatever does a space expedition have to do with God's existence?

God created everything by speaking it into existence.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist I do not dispute all science. I have very little interest in science to be frank. I don't need an explanation for everything that does or does not exist. I'm not so important in the grand scheme of things that I demand and expect explanations for everything that occurs or does not occur. Neither are you or anyone else that call themselves a human being. To each is his/her own. I know as much about Saturn's moon as you do about Harry Potter and have as much interest.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist How certain is science? Weren't some of the greatest scientific minds on earth at one time convinced that the earth was flat? What makes you so certain that Neil deGrasse Tyson is any more of a source of logic and reason than Billy Graham? I don't personally understand why there is the notion that all scientists and all theologians have to be at odds with one another. There are to many egotists and arrogant fools in both fields in my view.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist "Science doesn't have all the answers to every question, but religion doesn't have ANY answers to ANYTHING". Now that sounds awfully certain for someone who isn't entirely certain that there is no God or there is no Jesus. Ultimately you are as equally belligerent to the notion of religion as the faithful you claim to be so belligerant against the notion that there is no religion. So how am I or anyone else to believe you are any more credible in your claims than they are?

  • Comment removed

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist I have been that type in my life I'll admit. I never had anything against Jews though. But any Christian should know that hatred is not God's way and it took me to long to figure that out. It says in the Old Testement "any man who lies with another man as he would lie with a woman shall surely be stoned to death." And Jesus said "let he who is without sin cast the first stone". I certainly have no right to cast the first stone at anyone, we are all sinners in God's eyes.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Who wouldn't have an ego if they were the Alpha and the Omega lol? The Bible is a complicated book, it's filled with peace and it's filled with violence. It's filled with love and yet there is hate in it. It's not the feel good book of the Ages despite what many Jewdeau Christians think. Shit, I read the Bible and often times I see things about myself through the Bible that I don't like. It'll remind ya your not as good as you think you are at times that's for sure.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist I didn't pay any attention to science class prior to1995 when I had teachers try to force me to. I don't see myself starting now. Science is a delicate subject on many levels. On many levels for many people some of what is covered in science classes crosses boundaries that need not be crossed in my view unless the parent of the child in question consents. What ways can kids be taught science in ways that don't cross boundaries? Thats what needs be addressed.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist I don't know about queers teaching kindergartener boys to play with one another's tally wackers. You'll have to take that up with other "right wingers". The entire educational system from the Dept. of Education to the various teachers unions are all liberal and push their agendas upon school children on a daily basis. It's not just secularism vs faith or homosexuality vs heterosexuality, it's also collectivist doctrine that is being pushed via the public "education" system.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist I really haven't the slightest idea what eye care has to do with this conversation. Science is not liberal propaganda. Neither is US or world history. Neither is English Literature unless the ones teaching the above subject have an agenda and manipulate instruction and even text books to reflect their agenda. Some would say teaching evolution is crossing a boundary where it conflicts with their religious views, evolution a theory and not conclusively proven fact.

No idea has any "right" to be respected. Each must stand upon it's own merit.

And athiestic thought has failed to have any credence.

If you can't read, I'm sure Harry Potter can be had in video format.

  • @BradNC11175 Somehow I doubt Sen. Helms went to the same destination as the old whoremaster (Kennedy).

Making stands for righteousness and fiscal sanity were amongst his hallmarks. That he angered legions of libtards and frustrated their push to move to a centrally controlled state elevated him far above them.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrStrictlyStock Oh Lord no, I wager that whore monger Red Ted Kennedy is rotting in the infernal regions where he belongs. Red Ted was a scum sucking degenerate piece of trash and low life. Lowly little libtard scumbags dispise Helms for his stand against collectivism and their degenerate queer friends. How a fag can believe anyone with a shred of decency or common sense would take them seriously is beyond me. Helms recognized what filthy vermin the queers are and Red Ted championed the scum.

  • So this poor exuse for a senator gave new meaning to conservative:

    Homophobic Racist

  • It is unfortunate that Jesse Helms never became president.

  • God did bless that racist, but HE did not bless God with his racist bigoted hindering policies throughout his life time.

  • he billed himself as a states rights advocate, which is just BS. real states rights advocates are not racist at all. they simply want to give power back to the individual states and not have the federal govt make so many laws. they believe things like gun control, abortion, and tobacco laws should be decided by the states and not the Fed. But they are not racist

  • U can celebrate with another good smoke very soon when Ted Kennedy and Senator Robert Bird die. Ted was responsible for the death of his pregnant mistress, and Bird was a real life Klansman who still tossed the N word around. I can't think of any Conservatives who have been murderers or Klansmen.

  • I am not familiar with Robert Bird, but I have heard the stories of Kennedy's mistress. That is heinous! However, Kennedy's policies may be too liberal for many people's tastes, but he doesn't infuse his policies with the kind of blind hatred that Jesse did. He doesn't hate jews, blacks, hispanics, atheists, women, gays, lesbians, foreigners and feminists.

  • Senator Byrd has changed a lot in the intervening years. His time in the Klan was brief, and if I am the standard by which you judge, two lifetimes ago.

I think that his steadfast opposition to the Iraq war will ultimately define his legacy.

Search here on youtube for his speeches prior to the resolution authorizing the use of force in Iraq.

  • Thanks for your comment. I respectfully disagree though: Washington had great views on liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Helms was more focused on taking liberty and the pursuit of happiness away from people with a different skin color/religion/gender or lifestyle. United we stand and divided we fall: This core American belief made this nation great and it is about loving your feelow Americans, regardless of skin color, gender, religion and lifestyle.

  • Let me give it a try - Maybe Jessee Helms actually had values and stood up for what he beleived in (even if you disagree with some of his policies). He did a lot of great things for this country (esp. for the military)! He attacked liberalism head-on!He was anti-big govt, anti-entitlements, anti-communism, and (most importantly) PRO-AMERICAN! The liberal wackos that criticize that South should live down here for a little while. You might start to understand why we feel the way we do politically.

  • I moved from Europe to the South and LOVE it. I disagree with your statement that he was pro-american. How can you be pro-american if you dislike black, hispanic, jewish, gay, lesbian and women?

  • Further more, how can you be pro-america if you're anti-liberalism? Don't they still teach who John Locke was in school these days?

  • The modern liberal has distorted the meaning as compared to what you refer to as John Locke's philosophy. Modern Liberals are much closer to Marxism! Big Govt, distributed income, entitlements, high taxes, minimize religion, and control the media. Unfortunately, for you all, that died in the 1950's. Gov't should be minimized and one should take resposibility for his own actions. And, Govt is NOT GOD and should not take place of the father in black homes! Keep taxes low! VOTE CONSERVATIVE!

  • You are delusional if you think that the GOP exemplifies the philosophy of Locke.

What is taught in American schools is rote memorization. Most students of our public schools are unable to analyze information and apply critical thought, reason, and logic. This is why people like gumbostro here can take personal offense at contemporary Leftist policies, as they are antithetical to those under which our republic was founded, but fail to recognize the same being done by the neocons in the GOP.

  • It is said that one should always speak good of the dead. Jesse Helms is dead. Good.

  • Im a conversative and Helms is disgusting in his of race relations. Helms was the last old style Southern politicans around thank god. Polarization helms style is turnoff now days with the world being 100 times more complex.

  • Thanks for your comment Gizmosells. It is encouraging to see conservatives express their concerns with his view points as well. I very much agree with your statement on how things have gotten more complex

  • Helms was "bitterly opposed to federal financing of AIDS research and treatment". Of the Kennedy-Hatch AIDS bill in 1988, Helms stated, "There is not one single case of AIDS in this country that cannot be traced in origin to sodomy." When 18-year-old Ryan White died 1990 (contracting AIDS through transfusions) his mother went to Congress to speak on behalf of people with AIDS. She spoke to 23 representatives: Helms refused to speak to her even when she was alone with him in an elevator.

  • We were waiting for the punchline and lost hope but you delivered it at the last minute! GREAT punch line. Thank you. You're cute, too!

  • News Flash: Jesse Helms said hell wasn't all the bad after spending his first 24 hours with welcoming committee chairman, Ronald Reagan. Helms will share a 4'x4' cell with long time friends, Jerry Falwell and Strom Thurmond. Jerry, now turned interior designer, decorates the cramped quarters with drawings of Pat Robertson made from his on feces.

  • I think Robin Williams put it best with - "Jesse Helms says that the Confederate flag is just a symbol of state's rights. Yeah, and the swastika is just a Tibetan good luck charm."

That is a beautiful pipe, I love the shape! What is it?

  • It is a savinelli pipe

  • The world is a much better place without Helms! Hell is now much worse with him!

  • I don't believe in concepts like heaven or hell, but it is obvious that Jesse didn't display christian values at all and thus he would go to hell (if you believe in that concept)

  • What happened in his life to make him such a "harsh" person? He grew up in the south among conservative evangelical Christians. Remember, in the Bible, Christ talks about helping fellow man, helping the poor and not judging your fellow man over 3,000 times. He never mentions gays a single time. Many fundagelicals are not really Christian. If Christ came back and saw what they do in his name, I suspect they would have a lot of explaining to do.

  • People should stop saying such terrible things about Jesse. My mother told me to only speak GOOD of the dead. He's dead. Good.

  • He may have just had a very teenie weenie and hated Blacks, because Black men tend to be so well endowed and probably hated Gays because some Gay guy looked over the stall in the bathroom and laughed at his teenie weenie. Well, you know Helms was butt ugly and stupid, so he was probably just pissed off at Blacks and Gays, because of his teenie weenie and Gays have such hot sex and he didn't! That's my theory! LMAO!

  • Jesse Helms's fame reached even Brazil, at least among better informed people. I have always wondered the same things as you do.

He might have been a gay man with internalized homophobia, he might have been someone with black ancestry in spite of the Caucasian looks (as I am myself - no drama in Brazil, for here an overwhelming majority of us is mixed-race), but he might just be a very power-hungry man who focused on a reactionary constituency. And it worked - how many times was he elected?

  • Too many times. I think he was born in 1719 judging from his political views and "served" in the senate 122 times. ;-)

  • I wonder how his constituency justified electing him 5 times to the Senate! Oh that is right, in America the electorate is never held accountable, lets just all put on a happy face and forget the ill and the dead. I'm kind of ashamed right now of being from NC myself.

  • SHIT!! You took the words right out of my mouth when you said he might have been trying to hide his blackness....lol. I was about to add that as a comment. DAMN! I dont know what entitles someone to hate another person for no good reason. He was very haughty and thought himself precious. How ignorant! Turns out he was a mortal too.

  • Good theory. Called Reaction formation. Its a psycology concept in whcih people hide the true nature of ones self by publicly belittleing and opposing subjects. Usually if someone acts VERY strongly, almost to the point of irrationality about something...then they really arent that opposed to it , or sometimes are "it".

Like you said, he opposed gays. If his statements seemed irrational, then he very well could have been gay himself, but not knowingly would not have shown it, or ever come out.
