No way you heard Dorothy Moore sing this song in 1963. It wasn't written until 1966. Maybe you made a typo. Dorothy Moore charted in 1976 with Misty Blue. Monica, Mary J, and Joe Simon also do excellent versions of this song.

you've had training young lady, but it shows. well sung and i hope you get recognised, but a great voice these days is not enough in this world. the pr's of this world need short skirts and sex to sell their records and wouldn't recognise talent if it hit them at 100 mph. keep working hard and who knows...keep at them...keep in their faces...knock on every door...even go down to your biggest recording promoter and wait for them to come out of their office and just sing that song. good luck!
