What are people freaking out about? The corolla is obviously nothing close to stock. If you put money into any car you can go fast but stock, the xrs is only quick and would not be able to keep up with a 350/g35.

no somethin is off cuz in another of ur videos ur having trouble with a 350Z with same engine and all an the diff between the 2 cars is minute....mabe he had an auto but no way 50mph is near top of 2nd gear meaning dropping to first would have put him at redine so he basically had a few hundred RPM to get into 3rd thus ur 8500 redline trumps him at that speed..a 20 roll or dig would show better results

lol!! ok i think the civic fan boy heard u lol!! and our governer sort of does affect torque and acceleration my nissan mechanic was doing a Cobb ECU tune on a G and he sayd he had to remap alot of shit on our car's and specially torque and acceleration cause it was restricting alotof power from going through..

idk cobb only frees up a few ponies depending on mods it doesnt really affect anything on a stock G other than removing the top speed limiter and the ability to give accurate stats (1/4 mile, 0-60) and an easier way to reset ECU...now if u have mods then get cobb you will get a little more ponies out of them

@kenlee93 in what theory? i Own a G35 and have raced cars low end to high end and takin my beatings where deserved, but consideing i pulled on an EVO in my car when it was STOCK and then this guy to post a bogus video of him beating a G35 with the VQ35DE and then struggling to edge out a 350Z with the same VQ35DE is how im calling BS on these videos! a stock XRS has a 0-60 of 7 seconds and a 15.5 1/4 mile time far off from G35, and without turbo he wont increase that number significantly

Yeah this XRS runs 14.0 - 14.1 on the dragstrip (faster than the tested G35 coupe time of 14.3 - 14.5). Puts down 185 - 190 whp (215 - 220 HP@ crank) with intake/race header/exhaust + stand alone computer management on a 2600 pounds car (1000 pounds lighter than the G35 coupe).
