Grigor Dimitrov is awesome he plays tennis in the same style like Roger Federer!!! I hope that he can become so successful too. I love this kind of playing tennis. He has so much potencial I hope he can enter the top20 perhaps the top 10 soon. If you look at his strokes he can accomplish it. Best wishes from Germany
@ookboy24 An expert i see:D...too mechanicaly?...if this guy is mechanicaly what is nadal, djokovic or murray?...this man has fanlike tenis...he will be great one:)
Neither of his strokes, and particularly his forehand, look anything like Federer's. The only people who think so are brainless morons who know nothing about tennis. Sadly, this describes the vast majority of Federer fans.
@ihateuutube too bad most people including his own coach (who was also Federer's old coach) disagree with you. Mr. Expert. Tennis know it all d-bags suck.
after grigor had won wimby 2008, my trainer said to me " did you know that grigor is the son of my former trainer? :) i used to play with him whe he was still a kid and he was pretty good for his age".
and both, grigor and my trainer got very similar technique.
I hope this kid isn't injured already. He looks like he has all the makings of a future no. 1. Actually, you can't tell simply from this clip but if you've seen his matches against Simon, Rafa, etc... then you know how well he moves; he's lightning quick and his strokes are Fed-like.
i don tthink he'll go far. he already has tendonitis in his knees. tendonitisi is a chornic injury and if he's experiencing it already boy he's gonna have a rough road ahead
For those who dont know, Peter Lundgren was the coach of Roger Federer as he developed into a pro player...knowing that is is coaching this talent somehow makes me wonder of great things....i really hope that this kid can manage his raw talent life roger did...because talent alone is nothing...
but Federer dropped him as a coach and became a super champion.. Not that I'm saying that Lundgren is a bad coach, just that coaches are not always the answer.

Trying to imitate Roger but too mechanical like Djoker, no fluidity. To be great he needs to be extremely fast like Djoker. Is he?
