  • Im american, and im saddend to say its OBVIOUS THERES A CABLE ON HIS BACK. THE GREAT HOAX!!!!

  • I think that some people believe that this is a hoax because they look at their own fucked up lives and they cannot believe that other people could ever be successful in this kind of achievement ...

Wake up idiots! 40 years ago, mankind not only made it to moon but also walked on the Moon!!!.

  • @tha.rodrigues_daqui a algum tempo vms ter viajem para a Lua se eu for vou amar heehee'' amo heee

  • muito irado heehee''

  • If the Moon makes you move as a robot, I would dance like a robot if I ever went there.

  • wonderfull

  • @dopje31857 Yap, you can't use wires to lift every dust particle that flied of his feet. The only way this could have been faked is in a giant descending plane. Which wouldn't allow continuous several hours footage.

  • another douchebag falling on the moon YA RIGHT soooooo fake these astroNOTS owe us an APOLLOgy

  • @chillyrooster I don't know how you can be middle-aged and not see the clues which make this video valid unless you've never sought any education. Please troll elsewhere.

  • @KittySN u are the brainwashed one here ur education is one of conformity i bet u also believe that jews are not evil and osoma did911 too

  • @chillyrooster Says the person who can't type a coherent sentence, but I guess you'd consider that a good thing?

  • ahhh it looks like it'd be so much fun to be on the moon. i mean everything is differnet, it only takes, im assuming, 1/6 of the normal strength to do a push up, i'd be doing 10 meter high pushups :D with a clap or two lol

  • QWOP!

  • @dog4company Dust does not react in a vacuum, it merely flies farther because there is no air in the way. Dust is unpowered, humans are powered. A human can modify his speed so long as he is touching the ground, dust on the other hand will not, it will fly in the trajectory determined solely by its mass and the kinetic energy used to launch it, with gravity making it arc over.

  • @dog4company Again, gravity doesn't have the main effect on this. Once dust leaves the ground, it will fly in a parabolic trajectory until it hits the ground, no accelerating. If I kicked up some dust on the moon, it would go about as far as on Earth, ignoring the vacuum of course. No matter where you are or what gravitational field you are in, mass remains the same, and an object has the same inertia everywhere.

  • @dog4company Well no, "getting up" isn't restricted by your weight per se. You might think you can jump 6 times higher on the moon ect, but those actions aren't governed by your weight. They're governed by how quickly you can accelerate your mass in any one direction, and your mass remains the same no matter where you are. Unlike a rocket, theres no accelerating once your toes leave the ground.

  • @realdrummer110 Theres no brain in your head, just cement.

  • It's easier to go to the moon than simulating an adventure on the moon.

  • this is Tv studio, the astronat would not fall over as ther is no garvity on the moon, also is very cold on the moon and there is a van halen belt that would KILL any astronat, what more proff do you need that it is a haox ;-)

  • @marshalllucky No gravity on the moon ? What an idiot.

  • @johansen3535 yes this is what i am say, it prove it a hoax ;-)

  • @marshalllucky No gravity on moon? This is a revolution for the astrophysic. On moon is gravity (as usual for a rotating body in space with mass). The gravity is only 1/6 of the earth's, but it is definitively gravity.

  • @marshalllucky Well no, space is not cold or hot. It is a vacuum, which means it is an insulator. Cold objects stay cold, hot objects stay hot, there is no matter to conduct heat. This is why spacecraft need over-sized heat-sinks and liquid cooling to keep the heat under control. The only heat in space is that which comes from radiant sunlight, which is negligible for short periods of time.

  • @marshalllucky Additionally, no, the Van Allen Belts are not what you presume. You are thinking of nuclear radiation. Cosmic rays are merely ionized particles of plasma from the sun, distant supernova, ect. During the entire mission, astronauts were exposed to only about 1 REM, which is about the same amount as you would get over 3 years on Earth, and if anything this is proof we went to the moon, not evidence of a hoax. Almost all of the Apollo astronauts now have cataracts.

  • @UndeadPizzaGuy I know they get a lot of money for these thing but i did now know they drive the catallac, they must be very rich for the haox ;-)

  • @UndeadPizzaGuy I know they get a lot of money for these thing but i did now know they drive the catallac, they must be very rich for the haox , they heve to ware the space suite so they do no fry there brain from the van halen belt ;-)

  • @marshalllucky Van Halen is a guitarist you berk! I think you mean Van Allen Belt. Every Apollo crew that went to the Moon had PRD's (Personal Radiation Dosimeter) that would measure each astronauts radiation exposure. They never got more than what you would get from a chest x-ray. Now shut up and watch the damn video.....Charlie Duke is one of the most comical and entertaining astronauts you will see.

  • @UndeadPizzaGuy my aunt, she is very sick ;-(

  • @marshalllucky ...Van hellen HIMSELF said that his discovery of the belt, wasn't enough to kill them, it was measured that the astronauts got about the same radiation as someone living at sea lvl for 3 years u moron...AND wtf are u talking about? no gravity on the moon? wow...

  • @cabot2jville2010 No one ever said the conspiracy people actually looked up scientific facts. They go on blind faith. It's like a religion. No one can prove them wrong.

  • :23 OK- he's telling the wire man above him to be cool because he needs some more wire support. Then the Houston faggot covers up for him by talking. This is all so fucking phoney.Feedwater tone etc. Just got it. HOW'S THAT? all phoney nonsense.

  • Haha that was pretty funny watching Charlie stumble around for a bit

  • @humanmonkeys2

u dumbfuck nasa is already exploring other star systems and have found earth like planets and ur still trying to grasp the fact that we landed on the moon 40 years ago? pull ur self together

  • I'd love to watch a moon landing live!

I was born just a little bit too late.

  • Actually over 120 kg. And you couldn't jump that high flat footed like they did with limited range of motion. The highest they could get was about 4 feet.

  • How exactly would you do that? Could you jump 1/6th of 40 ft (6.6 ft) with a space suit that weighs 200 lbs on? Could you jump that high butt naked on a trampoline? No wonder the moontards are out in force, y'all think the moon is magic!!!

  • looool,- i love the moonlanding!!!!

should be weekly at AFV (americas funniest videos)

  • for those of you who doubt the moon landings, you might wanna start going to the nasa website. the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter mission is underway and one of their plans are to take pictures of the moon landing sites with a suite of cameras at very high resolutions. so your doubts and fail theories will soon be put to rest if you can put your tin foil hats down for a few minutes to view them. they should be out by early July.

  • Great. And if it was a fake, don`t you think the Russians would have said anything? They had the technology to see it all. And now there has been a lot of unnmanned missions to the moon, mostly sattelites. They have photographed the remains of the old LEM`s, even the other countries has proven that with their sattelites this, circling around the Moon.

  • The Pictures made by LRO are very nice. But you can't see anything clear on the surface. NASA should be able to do better Pics.

  • your right about that, but i think the 5 pictures they got right now were taken before the LRO reached its prime orbit, i think its now in the proper orbit and im sure soon we will be seeing much better resolution photos ;) i havent checked up on it lately because ive been side tracked with other things, but you are right im a lil disappointed with the pics as well but im sure better things are to come, cheers! :D

  • well, they will as soon as the LRO gets to a lower orbit.

  • LOL

  • Every time I saw an astronaut falling, I was afraid that something will tear or break in their suit and...you know:-( Especially when Duke fell on that sample collector.

  • LOL

  • i guess some people are so brainwashed by the current media that anything good is put down or doubted before they look themselvs.i just hope the missions can be proved in the hard light of the lunar day in the near futre to shut the fowl mouths of an increaseing amount of human cattle who are insulting this great program

  • He tried to get up but they kept yanking his heels upward, towards his back.

Wrong position for planting feet on the ground.

  • Several strands of 100 lbs test fishing line would make an excellent and stealthy support wire.

If the supports are mounted on the subject anything like with a puppet , the wires would be have to be mounted in multiple locations on the actor.

With so many wires on him, its no wonder why he trips so many times.

  • Charlie Duke is a very good man. He is one of my favorite Apollo astronauts

  • I am a manager of a photo lab and he comes to my lab every other week and I have to say he is one of the nicest man you would ever met but his wife Dorthy! She is head and shoulders above him and I am sure he would agree.......

  • Wher gone out seven rockets perhaps these gone to the moon, are not to Hollywood of course

  • please find me an article on such wires. i'm sure you have no idea what wires like that would even be made out of. nice try though.

  • To Reltonpelton.

    ...:-))

  • charlie duke was a christian. it's interesting to know that. i have the honor to keep a photo with charlie and me...i was very young and charlie held me in his arms...:D because he came to romania for an charistmatic action

  • How did he fall over if he suspended by wires? They went to the Moon.

  • Tripping? He is clearly not tripping. His weight from leaning on the core sample tipped him over. Then trying to stand he doesn't give himself enough momentum by pushing off the ground and he falls again. If wires were present, you would think they would have HELPED him up! Clearly the 'wire men' are just letting him fall over again and again. And then, he does a push-up move to throw his body into a sitting position, which would be quite impossible on Earth. How do you explain that move?

  • First the wires trip him up, then the wires don't help him stand up, then the wires help him stand up...

    Make up your mind!

You moon-hoax believers just pick and choose whatever details you like, then completely reverse course when the observed facts don't mesh with your 'theory.'

Bottom line: Looks completely like a guy falling over and getting up in 1/6 gravity, just like you would expect on the moon.

  • @ Returntothemoon:

In order to facilitate the forward and downwards movement required to insert the probe/collector tool a certain amount of slack was required on the support wires. Clearly there was a glitch in the coordination. What is remarkable is that the scientific value of that particular sample or indeed any other sample of lunar grit could not possibly of outweighed the risks involved with falling on the irregular and allegedly rock-strewn surface.

  • All sfx wire work uses two wires to stop any spinning when the person is mid-jump.

Also, the outer layer of the spacesuit is the thermal micrometeroid garment, toughened with mylar weave and other composites. It wasn't just a piece of cotton. It was remarkably durable, and resistant to micrometeroid strikes.

  • this debate will go on forever with one side going 'its real' and the other side going 'its not'

seems a bit of a waste of time.

someone should make a video of patty the sasquatch on the moon

  • No it's not, it's real.

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLIE!!

  • Soft as cheese, that dig.

  • guys look at the skys in the moon there in that video where are the stars? Tell us nasa why did youlie to us

  • ever heard of "exposure"? you need to study some basic optics before writing here this bullcrap.. try again dude

  • oh shit i totally forgat about that

  • thank you sir! and that settles it for me.

i will say this however...with the moon landing films, the burden of proof lies with those who say it is a hoax. with the patterson/gimlin bigfoot film, the burden of proof lies with the people who say it is real. this is a double standard. careful examination of the two films will show that the moon landings took place, and patty is somebody in a monkey suit...but it is still unfair and a double standard! hoax believers have every right to question

  • Believe me, you do not want the burden of proof to lie with those who say it was a hoax.

Because if it did, you moon landing believers would have been found guilty along time ago.

For example, the astronauts in low Earth orbit only have one bright light source, from the Sun, in their visors as it should be.

Yet the astronauts on the moon have multiple, blurry light sources.

    See this video:

    True Apollo Visor Reflections

  • Light reflects, fool... There is no way to say what the second reflection is on that visor, it could be light reflected from the LEM. If there were TWO light sources, as you claim, why oh why then is there only ONE shadow for the astronaut? If this is your 'proof' of a hoax, it makes more sense to assume they really landed on the moon...

  • You sound like a fucking nitwit.

I could be light off the LM? In every single fucking picture of "sun". What are you? Retarded?!!

  • 'Every single picture...?' That lame video showed only ONE shot, at extreme slow-mo, over and over again. So WTF are you talking about, 'every single picture?' In THAT shot, the one used to argue for 2 light sources, we see that the camera is clearly near the LEM (from the position of the shadow), and we see the double reflection as the astronaut moves in that direction. Are YOU retarded? Are we talking about the same picture? If there are others, please, do tell.

  • Listen NITWIT, your babbling is beginning to bore the hell out of me.

You are babbling like a monkey in a tree and not making a dam lick of sense, so stfu already!

  • Touchy, touchy! I just asked you to provide links to some other photos or videos that show this supposed 'double light source.'

Can't do it? Didn't think so.

  • It WOULD be a hell of a feat in EARTH gravity, but it wouldn't be that hard in the 1/6 gravity of the moon.

You know, there is much film showing astronauts running back and forth over HUNDREDS of meters. Just how big do you think this 'sound studio' is, anyway? And when the astronaut is a small figure on the horizon, why can't we see the any of the scaffolding for the wires, or any indication of being inside a structure? Clearly they are outside, so how do the wires operate?

  • Retards like you ingore the fact that the gold foil covering on the descent stage of the LM acted as a 'bounce reflector'.

  • Fuck you retard! Go back to the asylum where you belong!

  • ^^ That was for those moon landing haters...

  • Oh, I see, it's fill light...

    Retard!

Fill light leaves tell-tale signs not present in this video, such as soft contrast (certainly not this hard contrast) and specular highlights on reflective surfaces. If fill lights are present, we should see MORE than the '2' reflected in the visor, and they should NOT be coming from the same direction. Fill lights are used to surround a scene, not just 2 lights from the same direction. That would totally defeat the purpose of a fill light. Got it now?

  • You moon-hoax believers are creative, I'll give you that much. All over the Internet are idiots talking about how 'fill light' can be used to dissipate shadows. I show how stupid it is to argue that's what's happening in this video, so now it's not fill light, but 'hot spots.' Just keep throwing out BS, dude, some of it might stick.

Watch a FULL video of that scene. The camera pans right, left, 360 degrees, up, down. Surely any artificial light source or equipment would have been seen.

  • Creative? Hardly so. I haven't seen them bring up much more than the same old lack of stars and moving flag. They're a bunch of idiots with no grip in reality.

  • They are a creative bunch, but then again, remember, all retards that believe things like that only appear on the Internet, in reality, their beliefs are a joke and they cannot survive daily obstacles.

  • the only compellingevidence for fakery that basic knowledge of science cant dispel is the 'wire flash' idea, and the best example comes between 0.31 and 0.34 of this film. puase it frame by frame and not only is there a flash, there is also what looks very clearly like a wire. can any scientisty people offer me a rational explanation for this or provied examples of similar flashes on moon films that do not appear directly over the astronauts heads?

  • "puase it frame by frame and not only is there a flash, there is also what looks very clearly like a wire."

At 00:33, the "wire" is clearly fully horizontal -- how is it holding the astronaut up?

It's an antenna sticking out of his backpack. All the astronauts have them, you see the flashes all the time. Check "six clips of thrown objects", big flash at 1:08.

99% of the time, when people see "wires", that's what they're seeing.

  • Suckers, if you believe this crap.

There's nothing at all in that back-pack! It's empty!

There's no inertia movements, or strain signs around his shoulders or anywhere on his body where the heavy back-pack is held in place.

And look at how slowly he falls forward in comparison to how quickly the dust kicked up falls. And look at how his legs float horizontally! What is supporting them in a vacuum?! There are two wire supports: one under the back-pack near his arse, and one behind his head.

  • I agree with you! The moon landings were a hoax. Or at least some of them(I have not studied all of them). I know the Van Allen radiation belt is what prevented the Russians from landing on the moon.

Global warming is also mostly bullshit! Al Gore blows is way out of proportion. Man only makes ~3% of the total co2 output. Co2 does not change temps, temps change co2. ~65-95% of greenhouse gases are water vapor. Don't take my word for it, take time to study it yourself.

    RON PAUL REVOLUTION

  • A "heavy" backpack is quiet light up there (less gravitation) and the dust doesn't fall that fast at all. Because it's vacuum up there everything falls as quick as something else that falls there... and his leggs "float" horizontally, because his body is in balance. It works also here on earth if you go "sitting" here like that! Just look at it and think about it before you say "it's fake"...

  • omg..

  • I saw him last week on a speech! It was so cool to shake his hand and speak with him. now on im 100% shure he and the others were on the moon.

  • For those idiots who don't believe this is real: This could not be done with wires, that's obvious from his movements. It could be done on an aircraft with a parabolic dive simulated at 1/6 earth's gravity or a minute or 2 but then your studio would be ridiculously small. This is the moon full stop.

  • and plus, this was 1969 and if it was fake, to pull of special FX like this (moon dust flying in the air when the men walk)was way ahead of its time! we were on the real moon!

  • Indeed!

Even with modern CGI as good as it is, still gives away tell tale signs that shows scenes are not real.

  • BeSkeptical:"your studio would be ridiculously small".

It is not claimed that the 'moon' shots of a/nots bunny-hopping was shot in a diving plane!

    But CSM interiors were.

Have you seen the size of a C135, of which the Apollo Support Program had 12.

It would fit 10 CSM mock-ups inside!

And, yes, the C135 could dive and a lot longer than a few minutes: 10+ minutes is quite possible.

Exterior shots: the a/not bunny-hoppers were on a huge, fake 'moon' film-set dangled from springy wires.

  • I want to meet him!!! He is one of my favorite Astronauts of the Apollo Program. I would be a dream to talk to him in person!

  • I think it is great that these guys can have a sense of humour. Ever see the clip of them hopping accross the landscape singing as the go? "In the merry merry of month of ma..december!"

  • He's very dusty! At one point during the Apollo 16 moonwalk, the CapCom said, "My kids don't get as dirty as you are!" Duke just laughed and said, "Yeah, but I bet they don't have as much fun either." The CapCom said he was probably right.

  • Amazing footage.

  • LOL! Its funny to see them wipe out!

  • You could just about make a nice workout routine out of that, couldn't ya! :)

  • What a pratt. I think the Russians would have handled the Moon with a lot more gravitas. :-P

  • I have met Charlie Duke. He is a great guy with a wonderfull story to tell.

  • A nice example of real humans in a strange environment.

  • lol

  • THat's great footage! Is there a source of entire eva sessions on DVD or the internet to your knowledge?

  • Ughhh Where are the stars .. i see no stars ..

  • there is too much glare to see stars.

  • do you saw stars on any video of the ISS or Hubble or space shuttle?? NO!! Go learn about photography, specially the lessons about film exposure...

  • Sunlight reflected off the lunar surface washes out the stars too much for the small LRV TV camera to pick them out. (Since there is no filtering effect from an atmosphere on the Moon the sunlight is MUCH more intense.)
