I woke up with the first line of this poem in my head so I searched out it's words and looked for a reading. I think I read this poem in high school about 40 plus years ago. I didn't like the poem then. Now I love the beauty of nature and I can certainly relate to the words. There is a youtube of Masefield reciting his poem. I don't like it. It sounds depressing. I am glad I found a lovely version of the poem in your song and another piano version elsewhere.
