  • @MsCrista82 Have you ever done research into the benefits of ingesting cannabis compared to cigarettes and alcohol. There is virtually no benefit to smoking tobacco, and little benefit to alcohol and that only applies to certain forms. Cannabis has benefits in all forms. You have no facts or research to back up your claims and you insult people like you're in elementary school. You need to be better informed and people might take you more seriously.

  • reading all your comments on marijuana , just makes me feel sad for you lost souls , that you can't find anything to make you happier in life , i come on here to do some research you come on here to tell everyone how great marijuana is .... please ...obviously u have nothing better to do then smoke drugs and brag about them ...

  • unless you have dealt directly with someone who has smoked pot for 35 years and now has altzeimers disease at 50 and has been to 32 rehabs and still can't give up .. don't run your mouth and say its not addictive because all I'm reading is a guy who doesnt know shit thats still in the stage where he thinks marijuana is cool ..... you wait til it gets a hold on you and becomes the worst thing you have ever done ..... why do you think its called Dope ? because only the Dopes smoke it !

  • Rpusiac ....your a bigger dope than that of what you smoke !

  • i smoke weed and cigarrete, cuz i like having balance of toxic and protective chemicals.

  • Btw so much for it causing memory losss hahaahahah

  • @CNSagent yes very well put I support u and people alike. Stay on the path of righteousness !!!

  • The overall consciousness on the internet dictates that marijuana is a panacea. Only the blind generation (people without infinite information at the tip of the finger tips) still believes the cannabis propaganda horseshit from the 20;s. Its not hard for me to believe hemp cannabis marijuana can cure nearly everything, it can also MAKE nearly everything, from plastic to concrete. Can someone tell me, what CANT think plant do?

  • cannabis is a hallucinogen ?!?!?!?! - wtf

  • WEED NVER KILLD ANYONE..!!!

    STOP THE HATE ON GRASS!!!

  • cannabidiol ?? c'mon its not the only cannabinoid thats helpful with Alzheimers, theres a wide range of cannabinoids in pot that help this condition including THC!!

  • this is lamestream media BULLSHIT

FACT---Alchol kills more humans than cannabis--FACT

FACT---Alchol kills more humans than cannabis--FACT

FACT---Alchol kills more humans than cannabis--FACT

FACT---Alchol kills more humans than cannabis--FACT

  • I bet that professor likes to smoke some. :D

  • Comment removed

  • "From cannabis, known to be damaging to the mind...."

Wtf the cunt reporter still sneaks in that cannabis is damaging to the mind at the end, while there is nothing that supports that belief and this research shows the opposite.

  • @CannabisPhilosopher this is exactly what i was gonna post but decided to read a bit and see if someone had caught that at the end...

  • @homer0306

I was hoping the same when I wanted to post this but sadly no one before me in the latest reaction tabs said the same. So I did...

I really hope more people noticed it, perfect example of how brainwashed mainstream media appears to be.

  • ... OR YOU COULD JUST SMOKE THE FUCKING POT WITHOUT ALWAYS PAYING THESE GREEDY FUCKING DRUG DEALERS TO CHANGE IT INTO SOMETHING LEGAL!!!!

LKJSGEIOIOG .... this shit really pisses me off...

  • Well cannabidiol can help prevet memory loss associated with cannabis THC pretty much keeps memories from forming but this only last during intoxication or a day after also i have noticed something cuz if i have had weed with alot of cannabidiol it the next day my memory improved but then ive smoked some with high THC and the same effect but there are times i smoke and my memory stays the same or im forgetful the next day its not that bad trust me your okay your memory intake will return

  • I WILL TRADE THESE MEMORIES TO SMOKE WEED ANY FUCKIN DAY!!! LEGALIZE IT CUZ SNOOP ADVISED IT

  • I've been smoking weed for a long time and I remember things from my childhood like as if were from yesturday !!! I thought of killing my self once when I was in high school and after I started smoking back then I am as happy as fuck !!!! Legalize it it will only bring happyness to the world both physically and emotionally!!! Fuck the people who think it's bad for your health I don't get sick no more and when I do I smoke some more and I get all better!!! =D

  • @cabrona123 Of course you still have your lon-term memory. It;'s still a drug and it has been proven with tons of studies that it has great effect with the hippocampus, and trust me, this is coming from a stoner. I AM addicted to weed and always will be. I know a lot who are as well.

  • weed isnt hallucinogenic

  • @chizzy555

It's thought to be a mild hallucinogenic because your thoughts can sometimes overlap reality...

... it happened to me once when my friend(who was totally lucid at the time) was driving me home and I was munch'in like crazy on some candy when I noticed that everything outside the window just became alive and I saw some weird shit.

It wasn't like a bad trip or anything... it was more like I was in a dream... it didn't really bother me at all...

  • correction , NOT HALLUCINOGENIC,, cannabis is a nervous system depressant.

  • i like drugs

  • Why made a herb illegal when it does no harm and let a harmful herb like tobacco legal? Don't make sense man..fuck I'm faded

  • dont worry guys weed will be legal soon enough ^__^ its a matter of time

  • Umm, you only forget things when you're high.. I've been smoking for a long time, and I can remember things from Elementary School.

  • i dnt beleive it but my dad has alzheimers and he smoked alot of weed, in fact dealed it and nows hes in jail but i still think weed shuld be legalized

  • stupid reported bitch. i find Prof. Tony Moffat at :34 to be exquisitely hilarious. "cannabis...when smoked...has mind blowing properties and there are compounds in there which have these...hallucinogenic...properties". he says it with a smile on his face too :)

  • try gudang garam. i smoke it. it has marijuana seeds.

  • You'd think with all the proof (Rick Simpson's hemp oil especially) that Marijuana has medicinal properties, the fed gov would have to reclassify Marijuana from a schedule 1 drug.

Quick note to the pharmacueticals: If i get a disease I will be treating it with Hemp oil. I will not suffer and die to contribute to your greed. The number of like minded people are growing!

  • @fatherofmy5 So many people bought the lie: "We keep marijuana illegal because it's bad for you: gateway drug, addictive, causes memory loss." But those are NOT the reasons why it's illegal at all. Cannabis users know it. 3 reasons for illegality: 1. big pharma. would lose significant market share of business for their drugs that cannabis effectively treats, sometimes cures. Depression. PTSD. Anxiety. Alzheimers. Diabetes. Cancer. Chronic pain. + more. 2. war on drugs (gov loves it); 3. (cont.)

  • @Marleyites (continuing) ... cannabis illegal b/c 2. war on drugs: fills jails (very profitable for jail owners & vendors & construction & guards & admin); profitable for suppliers of war armaments: equipment + munitions + supplies for the warriors; drug war creates & maintains chaos-fear-uncertainty-crime-poverty (gov loves all these - justifies centralization & police state - so they can protect/rescue citizenry from evil-doers (aka the enemy, the drug people); and

  • The reporter should have done at least a cursory investigation and make mention of the SEVERAL "peer reviewed double blind research studies"

showing conclusively that THC protects/repairs brain cells and reverses "inoperable" brain tumors.

Funny she missed that. Must be her first day as a reporter?

  • IT'S A WAY TO NAVIGATE THE DISTRIBUTION, PACKAGE AND PILL IT. Today's Science, Tomorrows NWO!

  • where they saying weed has hallucinagenic properties

  • TwistedHerbs.coom

  • bullshit

  • you said bullshit. what did you mean

look at run from the cure

    on you tube

  • This evolution1313 charactor is a great example of iggnorance in its finest form as he or she clearly expresses scrutiny without validity for which both must coinside for their to be a useful exchange of ideals, as opposed to an exchange of uninquisitive opinions. Thank you for being a great reperentation of someone with a great deal of psychological stigmas that were obviously assimilated directly from your societies overall opion rather than your own factual conclusion.

  • @berberpock524 well said!

  • We DO NOT need more pills and that's exactly what the Pharmacology wants. Take that leap of faith, Rick Simpson did. Instead of sitting in a lab over and over telling of the positive possibilities he did something about it.

He turned Cannabis into Oil and for 4 years on his land he Cured Cancers Diabetes and many other diseases and ailments all for FREE!

Even the Judge said it was the most Surreal case he had ever dealt with, the Police sat in court and said he's not a Dealer.

  • CANCER CURE = RICK SIMPSON'S HEMP OIL

    Ted Kennedy R.I.P.

    Google "pubmed"

    Enter words "Cannabinoids Glioma"

  • im so available if u want to test canabis and its effects, hook me up :))))))))))))))))))

  • But that's supposed to be the naughty plant, you're not allowed to look at...!!?

  • Legalize it. I know I did!

  • O NEGOCIO EH FUMAR ATE FICAR DOIDAO

  • STOP LIEING TO THE PEOPLE!!!!

Marijuana does NOT make you addictive!!

Marijuana dose NOT kill your brain cells!!

Marijuana is not a gateway drug!!!!

There is not ONE case of moratlity by using marijuana!!!!! ( check alcohol and cigaretes.. )

    These are the facts!!!!!

    FREE PEOPLE!!!!!!!

  • @rpusic It's interesting that 80% of the people who are pro-pot can't even grasp elementary grammatical skills.

  • @rpusic People dead from Cigarette smoke= according to the CDC, "Tobacco use causes more than 5 million deaths per year worldwide. Current trends show that tobacco use will cause more than 8 million deaths annually by 2030" People who have died from Marijuana 0 ! WHY IS MARIJUANA ILLEGAL AND NOT TOBACCO?????

  • @rpusic amen

  • @rpusic i completely agree, its just that marijuana does temporarilly kill brain cells. which is then quickly restored. much faster than alcohal. and also marijuana can cause permanent learning disorders in young children. before there mind has developed. dont get me wrong im for the bud!!!! i'm just sayin.

  • @rpusic god i love you

  • @rpusic I entirely support and advocate the legalization and regulation of cannabis, among other illicit substances.

However, cannabis contains compounds which are potentially psychologically addictive for individuals with genetic predispositions to substance abuse and addiction, and for individuals who frequently ingest copious amounts of cannabis without a significant need for it's therapeutic benefits. ...

  • @CNSagent So do cheeseburgers, I crave an IN n OUT burger alot more than a bong load

  • @TheHempMessiah Of course, food is potentially addictive, especially sugars and fats -- feeding modulates doapmine transmission, therefore, overeating is "food addiction."

  • @CNSagent Yea man and food addiction is a lot worse and more harmful than a 'marijuana addiction.' I will concede that cannabis is not the best exit drug for a food addict as it will lead to extreme cases of the munchies. But I do recommend cannabis as an exit drug for tobacco and alcohol addicts, so much bs over cannabis being a gateway drug.. yea right its MY EXIT DRUG.

  • @TheHempMessiah I agree, and I do not enjoy criticizing cannabis, but there are also a lot of people who deny cannabis is a potentially psychologically addictive "drug," and as a result of such rationalizations (e.g. addiction) many others believe cannabis should remain prohibited, even though alcohol -- perhaps one of the most "addicitve" and physiologically detrimental substances in existence -- is legal and socially accepted.

Forgive me, but I cannot bear to witness blind ignorance.

  • @CNSagent What blind ignorance did u witness? The people that use 'addiction' as a legitimate reason to keep cannabis illegal are people that are too lazy to learn the truth about cannabis. So much for the 'lazy stoner' stereotype. The thinking that the government is keeping cannabis illegal because they are worried citizens will be 'addicts' is the most ridiculous argument out there.Cannabis is not jst less addicting than nicotine or alcohol, but also painkillers, depression and anxiety medicine

  • @TheHempMessiah ... Of course, opioids and benzodiazepines are more addictive than cannabis -- opioids and benzos can produce physiological dependence, and their mechanism of action directly activates neurochemicals and recpertors which play key roles in psychological addiction. However, antidepressants such as SSRIs do produce a psychological dependence, there are not necessarily "addicitive."

    (2)

  • @CNSagent Yea but you said that cannabis is specially addicting to those that use it a lot without a need for its therapeutic benefits. And to me it sounded like you support the medical use but not the recreational use because of the 'addiction' risk. But like you said, alcohol is one of the most addicting substances there is, withdrawals from alcohol can kill a person but yet it is accepted and celebrated in our culture. I guess I will only be satisfied when cannabis has superbowl commercials

  • @TheHempMessiah Yes, the aforementioned statement may insinuate that I merely support legalization in regards to therapeutic use, but I believe in, support and advocate legaization and regulation of cannabis -- as well as other currently prohibited psychoactive drugs -- for therapeutic and recreational use. Like I said, i believe in freedom of choice -- which basically implies that as long as nobody is physically harmed without consent, I am not primarily concerned with the decisions you make.

  • @CNSagent Great discussion. Very well written. Peace

  • @TheHempMessiah Peace. ;)

  • @CNSagent Google: SSRI discontinuation syndrome

There is a very hard withdrawal if you quit cold turkey like brain zaps. I don't think you will die off it BUT you will think that you die and that's all that matters for the person at the moment or not ;)

  • @rpusic ... Studies have presented that at least one cannabinoid has proved to produce neurogenesis, although, inhalation of smoke results in oxygen depletion which in turn results in the death of neurons.

Cannabis is not necessarily a "gateway drug."

Caffeine fits the criteria of a "gateway drug."

    THOSE are facts.

    (2)

  • @rpusic I did weed and i cant remember as good anymore. infact that is why I searched up this video.

  • @AssKillshot if youre over 35 years old then loosing memory is a natural thing, we can only remmeber so much, so when ya memory banks are full you will forget stuff cause youre continually adding to youre memory.

human memory is like computer memory, it can only hold so much, and when its full if you save new memory over old memory you loose the old stuff.

  • CANCER CURE = RICK SIMPSON'S HEMP OIL

  • Dopers. Narcissists. Who needs 'em?

  • sick people

  • what does it matter? i may smoke but i also have a good job and pay my taxes, so who the hell needs you?

  • "what does it matter? i may smoke but i also have a good job.."

Um, "have" and "had" are very close together. Risky behavior, doping, working. Don't you know you probably spend more time trying to 'fly under the radar', avoiding getting caught, busted, fired; you're staying paranoid all the time; you stay underemployed just to 'beat the system' so you can keep on getting stoned.

All that time is just wasted, man. Fleeting memories: you never remember it, stoned.

    Time's better spent straight.

  • Just so that I don't come off looking like this guy, Serr8d is as ignorant and long-winded as the rest of you moron stoners who know nothing about biology or chemistry, yet somehow have a wealth of "professional" knowledge to share about the utter benignity of marijuana consumption (except for Adimus28-- I suspect that he might have at least taken Intro. to General Biology and maybe a low-level Toxicology class). Serr8d: stop watching anti-smoking ads, turn off the TV, and take a walk outdoors.

  • Ahhh, what have we here? An elitist wanna-be maybe grad student who hasn't made it yet out to the real world? A Chomskybot, itching to grab the world by it's legs and give it a good frakking?

Listen, punk, I've already lived longer than you probably will (given the powderkeg we're living in today); I've smoked the best red bud and sensi and hash and grew skunk you'd piss your pants to gaze upon. But in retrospect, it's time wasted.

Now get your candy ass back in class, you internet dickhead.

  • Just because your life was a complete waste of time, teen angst and political religiosity doesn't mean everyone else's will be too.

Get some therapy man, and let other people live their lives, smoke their dope, and be as successful as they choose to be without you trying to force feed them this pathetic, "Well my life turned out to be a train wreck because I'm a crybaby who couldn't handle a little pot smoke" horse shit.

Like I said, take a walk you worthless codger.

  • Geez, calm down bud. Loosen up a bit. Why are you so caught up on this whole stereotypical image of the flunky, jobless stoner who lives with his parents and wastes all of his time in a haze of pot smoke and video games? Don't blame marijuana for your shortcomings; despite your distorted Hollywood-stoner-film perception of people who enjoy weed, not everyone who smokes pot is destined to ruin their lives like you did.

  • And this whole crusading anti-pot internet martyr thing of yours ("boo-hoo, I couldn't make intelligent, responsible, adult-like decisions about my life, so now it's going nowhere. I'll blame it on pot and tell everyone my story because I'm sure that everyone else is just as immature and misguided as me!") is just another way for you to try and convince yourself that your mistakes weren't really your fault. It's much easier to blame weed than to own up to being a loser, isn't it?

  • Exactly. People can be as successful as they choose to be. Our director of operations at the major cable company I work for has more or less admitted that he tokes sometimes, and I'm sure he's making six figures.

  • weed is my savior

i like that.. heres one by me...

    weed is my anti-drug

  • marijuana is also my anti-drug. i even prefer cannabis to alcohol 95% of the time.

  • weed is my savior

  • I LUV TREEZ

  • weed saved me

  • how?

  • it keeps me from thinking suicidal

  • it only causes memory loss when your HlGH on it after it passes your memory returns to normal and cause alzheimers????? what the fuk its prescribed by doctors in states where its leagal to people who have alzheimers

  • "one guy" you heard of one guy man

one guy out of the millions that smoke every day.

and i still question the truth of that story.

400k every year die from cigarette cancer related illnesses.

  • fair enough, but I've seen it turn smart kids with a future into kids that left school and worked in McDonalds. I'm only talking addiction, that's what I think could get you, I agree that if you just smoke the odd joint you'll be fine, or better than before ;)

As for cigarette smoking, it helps that cigarettes are available in every newsagents whereas pot is confined to your local dealer? I don't want to start an argument, I just don't think think weed is completely safe like some people do.

  • weed did not cause kids who smoke it to drop out stupidity caused them to drop out,,,,it is the safest substance known to man kind,,,,even safer than water,,,,you can die from drinking to much water,,,absolutely no deaths have ever been linked to marijuana,,,people have just been brainwashed by the government,,,and it is not physically addictive,,,it can be used for multiply things including medication,,,,its not what we believe it is FACT,,,you should get a lil fact in your argument

  • I disagree there. I'm perfectly happy with smoking weed but it IS addictive. that's half the reason why you use a bong. also, I know more than one person who has dropped out of school 'because weed made me not give a fuck about it'. they admitted it was weed. If anything, that counts as a fact in his argument.

  • buddy he said not "physcially addictive" you might be mentally addictive which is much easier to cure then a physical addiction.

  • LOL You don't even know what you're talking about, pal. Are you a psychologist? Do you have any credible experience in psychology, neurobiology or even basic chemistry? I didn't think so. It's cool if you're a dumb stoner like me, but at least act like one and stop talking about shit that you don't understand. Your anecdotal evidence is worthless.

And to the bozo who said weed is "even safer than water": .........wtf? Seriously? Could you please just elaborate a little more on that theory?

  • it wasnt me but ill gladly elaborate for you. they are right on the addictive point. weed is not physically addictive like tobacco and alcohol. it can be mentally addictive but so is gambling. or anything else for that matter. as for the safer then water comment, im sure he is refering to the fact that it is much easier to die by consuming too much water (hyponatremia) then it is to fatally overdose on marijuana. and by the way im a toxicologist.

  • Don't you think that it's a little bit disingenuous for you to claim to be a bona fide toxicologist when in fact you're probably only qualified to fulfill the duties of a lackey lab technician? (unless you're totally full of shit and have no experience whatsoever). Before you or any of these other know-nothing, lazy, wannabe "scientists" put forth any more theories as to the real benefits/risks of smoking marijuana, how about you first get a PhD, or at the very least learn how to fucking spell.

  • You know I quit smoking Cannabis and Tobbaco for long periods in between my life and in all that time I just could never quit biting my nails.

    Habit's eh.

  • ok wait. you think its addictive and thats why you use a bong? besides whether or not it is addictive, wtf does a bong have to do with it? A bong is to cool the smoke and filter out larger particles so its less harsh. also cuz its contained so its a good way to build up a chamber of smoke. wouldnt effect addiction in any way shape or form.....

  • So maybe this guy would have lost his memory regardless of the weed?

  • quite possibly, yeah - obviously I can't say, I'm no doctor, but the implication was that it was weed.

  • The safest drug on the planet, and its illegal. So it makes you high. Try taking two percocet, and walking a straight line.

If anyone you know gets cancer or alzheimer's screw the government and get them cannabis as soon as you can.

  • if your lookin for a vid on what cannabis really does to the mind (and im saying pro weed here) check out my end all pro marijuana argument vid i explain how thc works (in average intelligence terms) etc with links to all my facts and sumtin u mite like to no theres one type of brain cancer that cannabinoids either tripled the life span of rats with teh diesiese or killed the tumor completely

  • i HIGHLY recommend the youtube video "run from the cure" the rick simpson story. it documents the amazing effects of marijuana OIL curing cancer, diabetes plus more!

  • @st0ckman Run from the Cure is fantastic.

  • yeah mind blowing properties!!
