However I percieve him as being more savvy than Bush, and I think he cares about his country's power too much. He and the past presidents already have had too much at stake. They have grown too much to just waste it all with Irans utter destruction.

He also always has the Ayatollah (the supreme leader) who can force his hand out of such stupid mistakes. Despite the fact he is a religious leader I think he would look out for Iran's interests.
