Removing Vortex and Mustis (yes, also Mustis. Compare the melodies of all the albums before SBD to those of this one, and consider that all those badass orchestrations are keyboards) from Dimmu was like removing Jerry from Tom and Jerry. Sure, 'The Adventures of Tom' will still sell somehow, as fans already captured by the previous show will continue watching, but all the fans will eventually ask..... 'What was the fucking point?'

@Aphoboth i think in sorte diaboli is also a very very very veeeery good album, one of my favorites if not my favorite from dimmu, abrahadabra though, that's the dimmu i don't wanna hear, I really don't get why ppl hate in sorte so much, it has some really solid songs, and imo vortex did his best in dimmu in that album so that's another big bonus to the album

Best song where Dimmu used the clean vocals. After this, it just got excessive. Great song in its own right, and by far the best song on SBD. Shagrath will always be one of my favorite black metal frontmen. He inflects more personality into his vocals than most of them do.
