didnt see any contact info or website...if you convert these to fretless, pls. let me know, and contact me at educes@comcast.net ..say your ebay listing, but i hate doing biz on ebay..thx..rob
@BlissfullyDoomed I definitely recommend it if it seems like something you'd enjoy. As for tips, make sure your fingerboard ends up perfectly flat, no slopes or bumps, otherwise the strings will buzz against the fingerboard in certain areas. Also, lower the action after converting. It will sound louder and is much easier to play.
@BlissfullyDoomed Oh and if it was my FAVORITE (and expensive) classical guitar, I'd leave it alone and get a cheaper one to make fretless. Just my opinion. Remember, you won't be able to play everything you can play with frets, treat it as a different instrument.
Possible to play classical? Your choice of music is highly enjoyable, as are some of the other fretless songs on here, but I can't find any classical.
@orinlouis It is possible to play classical style, but difficult. You must be very accurate with your fingers when doing chords and I have not practiced chords much yet. However, look at this video, this guy does some pretty difficult and nice playing, youtube.com/watch?v=Gnh2OG-9zCI
Excellent!

Sounds pretty cool, reminiscent of an Oud in a way, or maybe it is what you play that reminds me of it, pretty neat regardless

I am thinking about doing this to my favorite classical guitar, but the question on my mind is do you recommend it and do you have any tips?

@ilikeguitar2 Hey--thanks for the helpful response. Unfortunately, for some reason, your link isn't working for me. Couple more questions:
1. Did you make this guitar?
2. Hard to find the notes? Guess so, since you mention difficulty w/chord accuracy.

@orinlouis Search youtube for "Fretless guitar song #3" and watch that.
1. I bought the guitar and converted it from Fretted to Fretless.
2. Single notes are not too hard to find, you just need to listen carefully and trust yourself. But yes, chords are pretty hard.

@ilikeguitar2 Wow yes--fretless #3 rips!
Pretty difficult to make your own fretless?

@ilikeguitar2 Yes, "Fretless #3" rips!
...but still not exactly classical. Guess it's just not designed for that.
Difficult to convert the guitar?
