can anyone clarify what would be used to observe detect which slit the electron is moving through everything else here seems to make such great sence I just wonder if the energy or properties fo the measuring/observign device effect the physics like maybe canceling ou the wave nate into a particle nature?
As far as i understood, moving in straight line is an ideal case mathematically, every path make is arch with some minor angle. we observed in daily life that when we move something very fast, we see it like a wave, because our eye cant follow the fast movement, to see the particle individually. But what is confusing that, when electron fired one after another !! and it produce interferrence patern ??
setting up the same experiment and rather than not observing the experiment, but emmiting various elf frequencies about the experiment, we would seee if brain frequencies effect the particle wave ,(by deducting frequencies that dont work accross the band as in the ones that dont effect the electrons, until we can pinpoint the the said frequency matter thay use to become solid) we could then further understand the wave -solid behaviour
Matter if effected by conciouse obsevation, this would only mean one thing, matter is energy in a different form than standard photonic energy, but this unique matter energy is responsive to elf or brain waves, extremly low frequency waves of energy, it not unknown we use this for disabled people using elf waves to do simple tasks, maybe an optical elf frequency effects the matter...even thinking about it could effect it as you would be litteraly thinking about the particles in question
makes you think about the saying....mind over matter desnt it?
The observer seemed to maintain the matters solid state, when matter is not being observed it acts as if it is energy. Matter seems to interact with thought, we expect it to be solid and it is, only when we dont observe it, it resorts back to its orriginal wave state. That would prove without a doubt that conciousness is more than we think. I wonder if we didnt observe the marbles what would they have created? ;)
Physicists have found a way of observing the proton without collapsing the interference pattern completely. I think the word observe is misleading; it is like saying we are observing an Asteroid by hitting it with a Nuclear bomb. They hit the particle under experiment with another particle to determine its position, it is hardly surprising that the particle under experiment is affected.
@47saeed your comments make sense. Observer here means a measuring device which actually interfere in the path of the eletron beam/or its wave. I was confused about this for ever. But stil it is confusing why the electrons behave as particles when *observered" and phontons when not observer (not obstructed).
@bot06 I think the electrons act like a wave; the electron can be at different position or positions with varying probability. Once the position is detected it can only be in the position observed, hence acts like a particle. A photon is a particle. I am not a physicist, so I could be talking complete rubbish.
@47saeed Well speaking of this experiment, when we observer each slit, how many eletrons are passing through it, the electrons starts to behave as particles. Of course this observing means some kind of interaction with the electrons. But it is still surprising that they behave as particles. Just merly observing them changes their state.
Electron position is know in this experiment. We dont know an electron position inside an atom but once it outside, we know where is is heading.
@47saeed@bot06 The location of any particle can be described with a wavefunction which gives the probability of where they can be located. In the case of an electron, the wavefunction coincides with both slits and thus *could* go through both at the same time. If you weren't looking at the experiment, you would guess that the electron could have gone through either slits and that is what is happening. That's how the wave part of the electron behaviour occurs.
Kind of funny to be calling the double slit experiment rubbish. This experiment has baffled einstein. It is called the "double slit experiment" and is accepted as fact by 99.9% of scientists.
Obviously you are the .1% who disagree. Rubbish? OMG.
here is a little trick for you to do it only takes a cheap laser, remove the lens, then try the experiment, then tell me im rubbish,if not look at my video shallow slit and deep slit at the end it has lens removed fropm laser
come on why if the lens is removed the experiment fails, you seem to think you can think and i cant,it is a simple question IF YOU CAN THINK and not just a parrot
Looks like pokemon
