@jichenl They didn't stole the chinese culture and language... Taiwan ancestors were originally from china... but they moved to Taiwan and started to build their own country/culture in taiwan like the taiwanese dialect. So I pretty much considered Taiwan different from China. I dont really know how to explain in words...I was born in USA and my dad is from Taiwan[so I dont know much..].. he said China and Taiwan is totally different. Even if Taiwan is the repulic of China; they are diff.

@jichenl taiwanese are chinese, theres no such thing as a taiwanese american theres only chinese american. The United Nation doesnt recogize taiwan as a country therefore its not a country. And most people in taiwan can only speak mandrain.
