  • nail drill sounds like a bee lol!

  • They look like those dodgey nailbar nails!

  • i love the way you do your nails ; i do my own acrylic too ; but so you when you are shaping your nails , so you dont have to keep peeling off the shavings use an emery board its alot easier ; more work but way better at the end. :)

  • nice! is there an easy way to replace the part above the white tip when the nail grows out?

  • do u specifecly need a clear top coat or u can use a clear polish???????????

  • did u get u rings at ebay 2

  • Does it ruin your nails ?

  • It sounds like a sheep

  • Where do you get the white things for I could try it

  • cute

  • i like them

  • cool

  • thank you!

  • Lol sounds like a sheep baaaaaahhhhh!

  • nm srry!!!!!!!

  • where would i find those white things !!!!!!!!!!

  • i got my salon shaper at school :) lucks!

  • omg...i bustin a gut by the sound of ur drill lmao..it sounds like a bumble bee being straggled to death lol

  • I love that you are a ebay queen like i am. lol. every time some one asks me where i got my top or shoes or jewelry i always say EBAY! woo lol

  • OMG....REALLY!!!

  • I have never had acrylic nails before and I was wondering. Are nails like good for me a 12 year old?

  • @isabelleisabamagirl i wouldn't reccomend you do acrylic, only because its really damaging to your natural nails. but if you choose to do them try not to pick them off because that will rip off your natural nail and don't do acrylics to often just keep them on and fill them in

  • @isabelleisabamagirl

TBH it's up to you. I wouldn't do it, because you will be required to do a gym class. That will break your nails.

TBH I would start with a gel type nail first, but acrylic is good. I love nails, had acrylic nails off-and-on since my senior year of high school. (so like 6 yrs).

If you do go to a store go with your mum. Also, if you walk into a place and it smells like the inside of a nail paint bottle, walk out. I find those places aren't the best.

  • You're supposed to put the tips on the free edge, not on the nail bed. Your nailbed looks really short now. And don't use that file on your natural nails, you're supposed to use a finer file! :)

Check out naiouk 's channel! She is really good! :)

  • oOOOOOOOOOOO my goood, you make a lot of mistakes, the areea of cuticules, need only to be pushed, not cut....and others.....

  • you are so bad at this..

  • You do both

  • I thought after you apply the tips, you're suppose to file it down before applying the acrylic?

  • How long do they last???

  • @iloveyew81 if you do your nails correctly they're supposed to last a long time. but after 2-3 weeks they wil grow out and you'll have to get them filled

  • For a tip, when you dip your brush in the acrylic powder, dip it slowly to create a less watery bead of acrylic :)

  • Luv this 33333

  • thanks! that really helped me :)

  • can you send me a msg of wat we need like the gel and stuff plss!!!

  • the electric thingy sounds like a bee. I have one and it does too.

  • Minee Turn Out Gorgeoss ;).x

  • love this tutorial! (:

quick question though, i'm a hairdresser, how long do you think they would last? (:

    anyone can answer, please help!

  • @amykins96 shannon said about 2 weeks before hers started lifting xxx

  • How did you take the acrylics off? xx

  • Thanks! My mum has all of the stuff as she USED to do it I'm eleven and love doing it she showed me once and I have my own French nails I did on my self but with light pink acrylic it gives a nice pink tinge :)

  • this was really helpful! cute shirt btw lol

  • hi just wondering how that drill is holding up? theyre super cheap on ebay and im wondering if theyll work

  • i bought the materials in this video and it worked :) thank u i will never step foot in a nail salon again!! i saved alota money and now i do my friends for some extra cash. Thanks agian

  • it could be a really stupid thing to say, but when you've cut the nail initially, can you still use the large bit of nail left? xxx

  • This may have been asked alredy but how long did it take you to complete both hands an hour, or two? i was just wondering how long i should give me so that when i do mine i dont have to rush. thanks :)

  • yes how long cuz I know after 2 days....

  • how long do they stay on?

  • Hey!.x for my 12th Birthdayy i am getting an acrylic nails sett and fankyouu for the help <3 i absolutly love it <3.x

  • You did an amazing job!

  • I plan on buying the salo shaper does it burn or hurt your nails when you are working with it??

  • Hi , i was wondering. where did you get all of your fake nails from?

  • @sup3rgurl123 look under the info :)! she posted links to where she got everything and the suppliers

  • The fast motion and the sounds remind me so much of the sims

  • Overstock has a full set for like $30! and theres buffers too

  • U shouldn't b so rough with your brush. When u wipe it just wipe gently on the paper towel n smooth into a nice rounded shape or the bristles will get damaged n misshapen.

Also u need to put a bit more acrylic on your nails, u didn't hav too much when u did that first pearl, that was about right.

Bu well done for not being a pro, you did ok. U obviously watched them a lot lol

  • i love it

  • thankyou x x

  • People are ridiculous, you're great!

  • THIS SUCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

  • @Unspac3 lol right?! Sounds like a newborn

  • XD the drill reminds me of a new born baby when it gets annoyed and starts to cry

  • i think u should practice more on ur acrylic application....

  • I had never seen them done without a heat lamp.

  • theres alot of different prices on the same electric nail files from deffirent people , can you please reply telling me which one you got out of all the choices ??

  • thank you so much for making this video! i've been wanting to do this for a long time! your steps are so easy to follow :)

  • just wanted to say this tutorial helped med so much. before i was putting the liquid on my nail then dipping my nail into the powder which resulted in very messy nails.

  • LOVE UR FLOWER RING

  • I'm addicted to eBay too and have just bought all the stuff to start doing my own, it cost me less to buy all the stuff than having it done at my usual salon! Your video has helped hugely thank you so much! :)

  • Realllyyyy, Helpful. Thanks <3 :)

  • i went to get my lunch when u were cutting the eges off i thought a bee was in my ear haha

  • acrylic nails -- nail killers

  • how long do the nails alst for?

  • As you got everything off ebay, amazing idea... is it better to buy everything separate or to buy like a deal with everything? i noticed they do like full kits of stuff, xxx

  • The nails before you clipped them reminded me of squared lady gaga nails haha :P

  • can you do an outfit of the day

  • Great Job!

How do you Refill/Infill them when they grow out???

Do you also do that yourself?

If so can you please do a video on that aswel

    Thanks :)

  • cutting or trimming is actually illegal in salons but if you have your own utensils go for it make your you sanitize

  • I was supposed to say the primer takes the oil off your nail and makes em stay alot longer!

  • You can do acrylic nails yourself you only need a certificate to do others (so you are covered for liability), I would recommend a nail primer first which you can find on ebay!!yay, The cheapest best quality set you can get is by The Edge and it includes EVERYTHING its about £50 - £60 but the amount of product you get are really decent , x3 28g powders which lasts for ages.

  • Curious, have you found that they stay on?? Reason I am asking because as u know at the salon, they add more acrylic powder..just curious as I am wanting to try and safe money. I get mine done every 2 weeks, so would be nice.

  • @MoiraS63 mine last about two weeks before they lift

  • @MoiraS63 What I do is I will layer one coat of the mixture onto a nail then I will let it set a little bit then add another layer on. It prevents lifting and cracks. It does take a lot more product though.

  • hello, I do not know if you understand me very well, sorry I am French, I have difficulty with English lol, I wanted to know if you could tell me or you buy products on this video for the nails? thank you very much

  • i really like this video it taught me a lot!! im bearly going to order my stuff n i cant wait to get started!!! thanks for the helpful video!! :)

  • is it easy to remove them? <3

  • Thank you for this video! It has helped me alot. By the way, where is your ring from? Its lush :)

  • What i friggin' awesome job for someone who has no training :) Looks sweeet as :)

  • just wondering if you recomend the kits and acrylic powders and such off ebay, i wanna start doing nails as a hobby, would it be worth buying? because ive always theought the kits with the coloured acrylic look small, please let me know, thanks x

  • @brokenoverdose they are small, but super cheap, soo good to practice with before buying better acrylic :)

  • @brokenoverdose i brought a kit from Ebay, it works great. ide reccomend it :)

  • Omg, doll, be careful :)

  • What brush are you using to apply the acrlic powder

  • Great job I don't have the patience

  • Lol the buffing noise sounds like a mix of a bee and a sheep XD

  • @MileySmileyCyrus92 haha <3

  • Just wondering, can you paint these with nail polish? And use regular nail polish remover on them? Or would you have to use acetone-free, or not use it at all? Awesome video, it's inspired me! x

  • @goldilocks04 you can paint them :) yup you have to use acetone free remover xox

  • I always do my acrylics myself. You can buy small sets from kmart for it :) x

  • @Melanieebabbyyy awesome! i looked at mine tho they dont have any :(

  • Can you put down the name of EVERYTHING you used so i can look it up at Ebay too? I really loved the way you did your nails even though you aren't a professional. Thanks For The Tips! You saved me ALOT OF MONEY!!!!!

  • @salmarojas i did put down as much as i could, i cant find links of everything i purchased myself but you should be able to find the same things by searching what i wrote xx

  • totally got goose-bumps during this

    love the video :

  • @VadaXOXO thanks :)

  • wow I thought it was a lot more difficult but you make it look easier! I'll give it a try :D

  • @MissRa92 awesome :)

  • @cinsel

if you didnt hear earlier she said she is not claiming to be a professional she was showing HER way she does acrylics....

  • honey i'm sorry and on't want to be mean BUT im working onnails for turn pro and what i see if just horrifying me, First of all your French is too big for the plate you have and really it's a bad idea to show *HOw to do* fake acrylics nails when you don't know Rightly how to make them cauz it's show other peoples the wrong steps to do !!! again don't want to be mean and if you want to do it better check YT some great tutorials ;) hugs xx

  • @cinsel Not everyone does nail courses, etc. So you can't judge people for that. The viewers don't want full pro nails, they like to know that it can be done at home by anyone without doing the course. I do my nails similar and it hasn't let me down, ever. So maybe you should consider that, because I know I'm not the only who doesn't care how unprofessional it it, Shaaanxo is amazing. Not trying to be rude, but yeah.

  • @Melanieebabbyyy it's more than ok to have your opinion and im not mad at all at you or shannon either i actually love what she's doing and if you see i never try to be rude with her !!! of course you guys want to do some HOME nails things and well some kit will encourage you guys to do that at home the minor trouble is that your real nails may suffering a bit and you can end with damage on it and it's the trouble but if you guys love do some of thoses stuff it's up to you of course ;) !!! xo

  • Wow, your nails look great! I used to have gels done professionally but I hate how weak it made my nails, so I don't think acrylics would be the best for me. |: But since my mums pretty sick of shedding out $60 per nail session every few weeks I might do hers with a kit off eBay! Thanks heaps for putting this video up - It's the best how to nail video I've seen! (: <3 x

  • @LadyDeexx3 thanks :)no problemmmm <33

  • ahh they look so pretty! lmao the file sound so sounds like the dentist it freaks me out haha. now i want to go put acrylics on my nails haha! btw do u find that once u take off ur acrylics that ur nails are really weak? cos all my friends that have gotten them done at the salon say their nails get really weak and crappy afterward! is it the same with like home packs? xx

  • @caffaccino yup they do get kind of weak :\ i just keep puttin on acrylics and i cant tell haha

  • lol on the very first filing of your fake nails i thought it was u like sorta screaming for a sec ha

  • @katkitkat1031 haha its a weirdo noise huh

  • YAY! I didn't want to go back to my black hair cause I didnt see your face! haha... I do my own acrylics and I love them. I recommend the CND retention+ starter kit... it will last you ages and it sticks like nothing I've tried :) I didn't know how to get them shiny, I used top coat... BUT I discovered a buffing cream and a chamois nail buffer OMG the shiniest nails you can get without top coat.. I highly highly recommend it :D and also works on natural or painted nails :) xoxo

  • @beautybargainhunter hahaha aww <3 where can i find those things? :) cnd? and a buffng cream? xx

  • @shaaanxo ebay :/

  • @anarchyfixation i dont think so x

  • thank you so much! i have been waiting so long for a video like this!

  • @fatima23reed glad yu like :)))

  • Awesome video, didnt realise that it was so simple, Im def gonna try my own :D

  • @lucypootwo yay goodluck :)

  • i love ebay!

  • @greysfanfvr me too :D

  • it is said that cutting your cuticles off or removing them is really bad D: it can lead to infections because of bacteria etc

  • @LittleMissMischief01 i know but mine are fine because they're are practically dead

  • What a great idea of doing your own nails! I never thought of it. Ill have to try it cuz when I go to the salon to get mine done, I always end up at home "fixing" them cuz they never really get the shape I like or leave them way too thick, I'm just never fully satisfied. Thanks for this vid! :-)

  • @lillyinthewater26 aww awesome! goodluck :)

First you need to create an ebay account, goto the login page and sign up... During the sign up process you enter all payment methods u may have (paypal, credit card, etc.) I am pretty sure ebay does not take cash tho. But then you want to click the search bar (after you have signed up and are logged in) after clicking the search bar type in the item your searching for a couple of listings should show up click on one of them and their is sometimes an option to purchase bid or bes
