That isn't really a question in the way you seem to have indicated. Atheism, isn't a theory, it isn't a proposition. Its a stance on an issue, a stance that you gain from critically thinking.

So, if what you're asking is about the decision to disbelieve in gods, then you're not talking about wether Atheism itself is a fact, you talking about wether the stance it is based on can be proven factual, and then, the answer is...it is, in so far as any other stance is.

Only to the poorly educated or non thinking. For instance people with masters qualifications can still be creationists as they have decided not to think. Also people with lower educational standards will believe more and think less, trusting in the words of a charismatic speaker rather than thinking about the information presented to them.

So, religion does more harm than it does good TO people or FROM people who have half a brain.

Religion is neutral. Its humankind that's dangerous.

I think it is a fact on a certain level, I mean it depends how far we fall down the slippery slope of relativism. If I didn't think it was a fact then I wouldn't be an atheist. It is a world view insofar as any opinion anyone ever holds is a world view.

Yeah, the moderators of the BlogTV shows performed by big name YouTubers are usually over sensitive little pricks. He probably took issue with the idea that atheism is a "world view." It's impossible to derive any view of the world from atheism or theism. Specific types of theism can be world views, but theism itself is not a world view, and atheism itself can never be a world view.
