I remember seeing a very short glimpse of this on tv when I was in a hotel on vacation years ago. Honestly I was like "HOLY MONKEYS!!!! IT'S BUCKETHEAD!!!!!"

@419211 people have called this "slap guitar", Bucket uses a tremendous amount of improvisation when he performs, this is one of his creations.

@LawyerScumGhost He is probably the first to do it on a guitar, but slapping on a bass guitar has been around for many decades, and he has obviously taken inspiration from that. It is quite impressive to use slapping on such small strings tough.

I have had the opportunity to see many great bands live and Buckethead commands the stage more than anyone else I have seen. He is eccentric, but he is also very entertaining. Wearing the mask allows him to be himself.

@THEAndrewBanker That's Bill Laswell, he put the show together and is one Bucket's earliest collaborators. The credits say "Buckethead" but with Bill, Brain and Bucket playing together it's really a band called "Praxis".
