This guy is clearly immensely talented, but as a straight guy I'm glad he grew the beard. Early on he came across as a loser trying to score chicks, but maybe that's just me being prejudiced. After he grew the facial hair, he became much less the greasy bartender and more the grown up rocker. For me he's the best the franchise has put out. He's like Elvis. He can sing anything.
