Oh yeah and, eezeshank, it's landmasses that are far from the equator that are too big, compared to those near the equator, in a Mercator projection. Not north vs. south, as you imply. If lecturing people -- especially scientists and mathematicians -- tred more carefully. Why not use the internet that's in front of you, to conceal what an ignoramus you are?

I see you have a traditional map behind you Piers showing countries incorrectly in proportion to each other.The southern continents are shown far to small.

e.g. Greenland with 2.1 million sq km appears larger than China when in fact China with 9.5 million sq km is more than 4 times larger.
