all the current female country talent today are in their 50's... there is no one out there in todays so called country music that has half the talent of a suzy bogguss or kathy mattea.. real country music started its death sentence in the mid 90's and has all but disappeared now...sad day for R E A L country music
@quagskag55 Do you ever wonder what those cutsie little blondes that call themselves singing country music today think when they hear this lady's voice?? What are they thinking down on the row to not have real country music here in Nashville?? Mr Acuff is turning in his grave as we speak!!
@coleyman1 You must have been country when country wasn't cool. That's great! But, you need to quit bad mouthing the current talent. It's really unattractive of you.
@browneyedcarol Ooopsee! I think you got the wrong impression. I am not bad mouthing the talent of today's lady singers, it's just the fact that they are not singing "country music". Their music is played on country stations only because there is not a musical catagory that it fits in. Somehow people think just because the song has a fiddle and a steele guitar in it, it is "country". Some of Suzy's stuff is a little "bubble gumish", but not like most of the female singers of today.
Is Nashville deaf?? This has been my favorite female singer since the first day I heard her. Songs like this just show that she can sing any type of music that suits her fancy. Great talent, I'm sure a great lady!

I love Suzy Bogguss but some songs should be sung by the original artist. Her version is ok but cannot compare to Peter Cetera's version.

Anybody know where to hear/see Suzy's "Somebody to Love"? I loved song when it came out, but it seemed to disappear.
