Nice zhifting of voice...From a normal one to a falzetto...I mean there are ztill lotz of guyz who doezn't know yet how to do falzetto...and Jed did awezome! The nessun dorma was transposed lower wasn't it? I don't think he hit the High B required at the end and he took a stop before the last "rooo" which is unusual. But that's ok, it's a really difficult song. Most pop singers who sing it really transpose it lower. His other high notes are incredible anyway. Beautiful falsetto too. I really think Jed is the only male singer who can keep up with Regine when it comes to high notes duets. They have similar, beautiful light timbres, too.

Regine is anything but ordinary. You can ask Jed himself what he thinks of Regine's vocal capacities. Regine, hands down, is one of our country's most accomplished singers...both in the technical and artistic sense. There are things she can do with her instrument that i don't know if any other singer can do. That's how good she is. If you don't like her singing, that's fine. But to completely dismiss her as common is kinda uninformed.

I'm a fan of both Jed and Regine. For me, Jed has one of the most beautiful male voices in the Phils. Amazing technique and beautiful tone. Great musicality as well. Judging from his repertoire, he's also been greatly influenced by Regine. ALtho of course, his attack to her songs will be different since he is a man (different ranges). But bottomline, they're both great talents. Let's just appreciate them, instead of dissing one to prop up the other.
