Dgomez, steroids are legal for horses for medical purposes!BIg Brown has used steriods, Dutrow has admitted it. It is not illegal so he has no need to hide it. As for testing, most tracks test only the winners and a random runner from the race! Hoose is wrong though in blaming Steriods for Horse deaths, if horses were using steriods as human athelets do, it would make sense that the records would be falling by the wayside, but they are not, the Derby and Preakness records from 73 still stand!

Until Big Brown runs against Curlin I'm not going to pass judgement. He could just be the best of a bad bunch. It's sporting tragedy the way they rush the horses off to stud. I think the owners of Big Brown should take a leaf out of Curlin's owners and take him overseas. Sure, winning the Triple Crown is important but if wants to leave a real long lasting legacy then he has to take his show on the road, that means beating Curlin and the European horses..... even on turf

Big Brown could do it, but it's not worth the risk of sending him over. He already has poor feet and the standards of racing are completely different. If he runs against Curlin, it will probably be in the Breeders Cup Classic, unless he is retired to stud immediatly after the Triple Crown, which some of the rumors are. And I do believe he could trounce European horses on the turf, he has the perfect breeding for it and has won on the turf before. He's a great horse, and so is Curlin. :)

That is a nice horse. Calm in front of crowds, yet fast on the track. I would so pay good money for his stud fee!!! I am rooting for him, the horse not the owners they make to much money anyways. Awesome video anyway it really showed him close up he looked great!!!

i went to the preakness at pimlico today and got to see this amazing horse run. i didnt even cash in my winning ticket for big brown, because i want to keep it as a souvenir for when he wins the triple crown. : ) good luck and godspeed you beautiful baby!!!!
