  • @TheOgrande good for you, bro. it's dope as hell too.

  • I think this was one of the best tracks on the album.. I still bump the College Dropout sometimes and I always get stuck repeating this track lol

  • rip marvin gayre, best song on college dropout

  • Great great

  • Pt. 2

New Kanye sounds like he's trying to be deeper, less held down by the same rap trends. I think he's doing what he always wanted to do in the rap game, but either way, he still be spitting if you listen to him.

  • Personally, I like both "versions" of Kanye. Don't be mistaken, there's definitely a difference in his style now versus then, but both are awesome in my opinion. Old Kanye talked about his struggle to his position, and how thankful he was (despite what people may have thought.) Sure he had his club tracks, but mostly he showed love to his people, his city, and his label. It was hip-hop because that's what Chicago does, but after so long, he had to change.

    Cont. in Pt. 2....

  • Someone knows the music from the beginning?

  • 3 summers? thas dedication..

  • Fox owns

  • Does track 4 go into track 5, or track 5 into track 6?

  • this the song aziz ansari was talkin bout

  • This is wen he use to be tight fuck his new shit!

  • @jmaal2345 fuck his new shit? idk if ur talking about his 808`s or mbdtf, well let me explain. 808'S & HEARTBREAK (RELEASED IN 08), is a very emotional album, that is him talking about heartbreak & love, mostly the album was made cause of his mothers death, and his gf leaving him, one of his most creative albums, and he uses auto tune in such a great way, ur ignorant 2 call it trash, yeezy is a true artist. btw its not supposed to be a h/h album, its a pop/electro/RnB album.

  • @jmaal2345 Now, My beautiful dark twisted fantasy(2010), is just a fucking masterpiece, hip hop at its finest, i can't even fucking explain the fucking greatness of it. Honestly yeezy is one of the greatest artists ever.

  • @WeezyHOVaUryu1994 i disagree i hate his new shit thats just me its my opinion not yours

  • @WeezyHOVaUryu1994 Yeah it's for sure only for people who understand where the games at today. Honestly "Fantasy" has probably been the only good hip hop/rap album that's been released for a while.

  • The begging was gay and didnt match with the song at all.

  • Does anyone realize that BoB rip this song off with airplanes?!

  • @SALVATRUCHA87 I dnt hear how he riped this song off

  • I like consequence's verse the best

  • ock yourself in a room doin' five beats a day for three summers

That's a different world like Kree Summers

I deserve to do these numbers.

i fucking love that part. pumps me up for no reason.

  • " Y'all don't know my struggle, y'all can't match my hustle. "

If that didn't give you chills, go play Justin Bieber or Soulja Boy you mainstream pop faggots.

  • @iAmKupid Kanye Wesst is one of the most mainstream artists. I will say The college dropout was one of the best mainstream albums in the past 10 years. Everything after CD was kinda weak.

  • @iAmKupid Bieber is Evil

  • @iAmKupid Kanyes nice, it's why I'm here. But why the fuck are you talkin shit on JB or SB? You sound like the pop faggot yourself (you said so about yourself, I'll take ya word for it) and if you didn't notice there both young aspiring talented artists who care about their fans and for no reason everyone talking shit tryin to put them down like MJ. Way to block artists with your pathetic envy for their ridiculous money.

  • Actually, I was referring to a large amount of people on here complaining about how KanYe wasn't good enough, and this KanYe is unoriginal and garbage, and insinuating that i'm a "pop faggot" is based off.. what? A statement from over a year ago? Congratulations.

In no way am I blocking them in any way, I actually pushed people who found this music, unoriginal or any biased opinion as such, to go listen to them; and being technical, wouldn't you be the pop faggot for sticking up for them?

  • @iAmKupid I see, your referring to someone else listening to the same mainstream as you and calling them and yourself a 'pop faggot'. Technically, I suppose I would be considered the same haha.

  • i hate the fags who complain about new kanye....that shit a fuego too!

  • idk why but when i first heard this song i thought ludacris was on it....good kush

  • i FUCKIN LOVE HIM....Damn Ye...lost yo momma lost yo mind. I DONT giva fuck what you do. i love u no matter what baby!

  • "dude lock yo self in a room doin 5 beats a day for 3 summers"= Classic College Dropout. 2 weeks making an album= bullshit 808's n Heartbreaks.

  • EMINEM RULES "ROCKBOTTOM

  • @MrBaller0021 thats an old ass song nd y even bring that up on a Kanye nd Consequence track u fuckin "STAN"

  • everyone is better b4 they get money

  • i hate that stupid intro fuck that who cares if they take this song out just start it from 30 seconds

  • the begining is dope

  • This is my SHYT!!!

  • still my shit real shit lyrics!!!!

  • whats the intro?

  • I dont know what with everyone saying 808s and HeartBreak was a bad album. At first i cant lie it wasnt my style but when you listen to the lyrics and what he is trying to get across along with the beats you will fall in love with the album.

Truthfully I think the album shows the inner pain and sadness of a Genius simply put

But hey thats just my opinion

  • @007andre 808's was a masterpiece <3

  • always gona stay on my ipod

  • one of the greatest samples of all time.

  • kanye is going to make up for his last album the new joint is going to be a banger you will see

  • kanye only bad album is 808 and heartbreak. It had like only 2 songs I really liked yall probally know the 2 songs I am talking about.

  • @royalnash 808's wasnt realy a bad album it just wasnt the yae we use to fell you if you sayin it coulda been better though

  • people all this bring the old kanye back wtf respect him and his albums be thankful he gave this to us people grow, artists are people they grow to subject matter changes cause the person changes damn...... kanye is so credible it is corny yal say stupid shit like that every album he does is a classic

  • man kanye is such a real rapper i miss his old shit but the new shit is good too. i really really hope his new album has a feel to it like this one.

  • man, every person who has been in the game a while is gonna have people bitching "bring back the old whoever", he had a concept for 3 albums, and it finished. he isnt going to keep making music like he did 8 years ago. artists need to evolve

  • what happened to kanye man. This song is what gets me through my day working at Pizza hut.

  • just cuz he used autotune in 808's and heartbreak doesnt mean he lost creative ability, autotune doesnt write a song for you and he had some really great lyrics on 808's and heartbreak, you cant be the same person your whole career, i think kanye transitioned great after what he went through, i mean that dudes mom died and his girlfriend left him the same year, you cant expect his album to be as upbeat as his other ones, he branched out and i think he did a great job on that album

  • Kanye couldn't assault a wet dream.

  • @CitySkin09 lol true

  • @Dresden1065 - Right on...

  • Talk about over-production. The opening beat is sick. Anything after that is not worth commenting about.

  • what is that beat that start the video sound sick as hell love it

    and also love this line

Lock yourself in a room doin' five beats a day for three summers

That's a different world like Kree Summers

I deserve to do these numbers

The kid that made that deserves that Maybach

  • @poetmm that was sick as fuck Ye is a genius

  • Kanye is going to murder his next cd period

  • Now he talks 'bout Loui V, fuck him

  • @JNR192 its call change fuck you

  • i still love this song, it brings back so many memories!

  • old Kanye come back :(

where are the soul beats you bragged about for so long kanye? i miss shit like this!

  • nice

  • God, I miss the old Kanye so much..

  • @MannyAreDee

yeah hopefully he goes back to his roots on Good Ass Job. Less Jeezy and Wayne features more Common and GLC

  • This is an anthem to bump right before going to work lol!

Dope song talking about real real life :D

  • who ever dosent like dis song is retared

  • God, I killed this tune.. This was back then, when he wasn't into NWO.. He turned out to be a faggot. Goddamn hollywood.

  • man ya'll are jus basing off 808..if you actually listened to it, it has a strong meaning. Lames lames lames. Kanye is reallll unlike you're favored fakdd rappers

  • @Twins1217 exactly.....sheesh people these dayss

  • anyone know the name of the piano song at the start?

  • this shit goes hard

  • This shit got me through my first telemarketer job playing in the earphones everyday I went to work, sometimes while I worked that's why this shit is do deep.

  • @ MrRecklessBehavior2, thats probably, THE SINGLE MOST, articulate and touching, truthful statement Ive ever seen on youtube. Legit. Props man.

  • I want this to be played at my funeral amongst other things.. great song deep message.

  • this me shiznit

  • classic. im a big fan of the reality that gets brought to mind by this tune. whether his current attitude sucks or not, kanye has skill.

  • these are the songs people love because we can relate to it, not blowing mills in the canarys, butbein sick and tired of work, bring back the old kanye!!

  • @Maccao6 hell yea

  • one of the realest ish ever written...song be the first thing i think of when im goin thru it at work..love it

  • kanye is singing dumb ass look at his performaces on youtube

  • @fliproduct Kanye isnt singing dick thats a sample

  • you goof, kanye is clearly singing the chorus

  • marvin gaye is singin the chorus its jus sped up

  • Yeah, that's Marvin Gaye, Distant Lover..

  • @AmberSumer The original is just the best :)

  • @southensmokin the beat is sampled from distant lover. but no where on distant lover do i hear marvin gaye singing the chorus of spaceship.

  • @fliproduct yeh i made a mistake i meant the marvin haye was the one singin in the squeaky voice

  • "Lost my mama, lost my mind..."

...When you think about it, that might be what's really wrong with Kanye nowadays. He's still real, mind you, but he lost his rock, y'know? And to lose your own mom to something you helped fund but had always criticized anyway in your music? That's gotta hit hard. =(

  • @MrRecklessBehavior2 thats GLC not kanye

  • @shamroro Yeah, I know. This song was released a few years before Kanye's mom passed away, anyhow, so it's not exactly relevant. Still, I find GLC's line to be eerily prophetic.

  • @MrRecklessBehavior2 yah with the difference that Kanye hasnt lost his mom, and those werent his words, but good analogy

  • @alitafa he did lose his mom

  • @MrRecklessBehavior2 Even though that wasnt Ye that said it you might be right.....Definitely going to take a toll on you losing someone that close to you right at the time when friends become enemies.....Fame changes everything

  • @MrRecklessBehavior2 I understand what ur saying and totally agree but this song is old and Kanye didnt say that line in this song

  • @MrRecklessBehavior2 Couldn't agree more. Not that's just nothing wrong with his whole post-modern artnouveau eccentricities these days, but it don't really hold a candel to his soulful every-man afro-political days... Which definately might have something to to with the loss of his mother mind you; plus you know people DO change over time, so that too...

  • @MrRecklessBehavior2 Kanye didn't even spit that line.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrRecklessBehavior2 fuck that ConseQuence KILLED this fucking track... props to him!!!!!

  • @MrRecklessBehavior2 that wasnt kanye that said that

  • @MrRecklessBehavior2

Yeah, but you still have to be a man despite that. Everyone loses their parents at some point. It's probably harder when you come from a single parent houselhold, but the fact still remains. You have to man up.

  • @MrRecklessBehavior2 and yea anyway it's glc's line, no ?

  • @MrRecklessBehavior2 2 things, 1 is that the line is glc's line and 2 this song was written way before kanye's mom died but other then that nice song

  • @MrRecklessBehavior2 yea its like his mom is all he had

    he dont have much family

like he said when he was talking to press

" who am i suppose to run to ? my mom ? i dont have one .. i dont have a girlfriend i dont have any kids "

people can try to justify mel gibson but call kanye an asshole

haha u gotta love this fucked up country

  • @dmarcusmilez i agree but everyone thinks mel is an asshole, pple aint kissing mels ass cause hes white(dont think thats what u were sayn) but yeah kanye has done some lil bitchy things thats a fact, but mel has a way worse rep, thats apparent

  • @MrRecklessBehavior2 that lyric is glc's not kanyes :S

  • @rjm6 and his moms was still alive when this was written

  • well thats glc who says that not kanye but yes good observation....@MrRecklessBehavior2

  • and I also hate how people be hating kanye for singing and 808s. this track just proves kanye been singing for a while

  • this is my favourite in the whole college dropout. i used to put this on repeat non stop. one those songs that just touches deep inside. Also if you listen to the original sample by Marvin Gaye, it's amazing how Kanye chopped it up. Shame he's gone on to make crap pop, but whatever, that's his choice. I'm still gonna bang College Dropout & Late Registration for years to come :)

  • Aye fucking men to that my man. His first two albums are total classics. HE completely changed the entire face of hip hop with em.

  • this is therapy thank you kanye

  • damn I hate work....

  • what happened to kanye? he's got problems like everyone else, probably more than you normal fucks. Stop being lame, dude makes bank and makes good music..not many artists can say that. Real people fuck with you kanye

  • @Twins1217 he don't make shit like this anymore. Debut was his only real album

  • mayne, i bet mtv payed him to do that to taylor lol. he walked in with a bottle of HENNY! that's just controversy waiting to happen lol

  • Damn this is an awesome song...what happened to you Kanye...

  • theres one thing everyone should remember about kanye.........and tiger for that matter..........ITS NONE OF OUR FUCKING BUSINESS.......JUDGE THEM ON MUSIC AND GOLF RESPECTIVELY

  • My favourite track of last classic album made in rap music.

  • its crazy i was just saying that to myself 5 minutes that this is the last classic album made after listening to through the wire, i wouldnt even post anything if i didnt really think this was the last classic.

  • why are people hating kanye over taylor swift?..... ffs u guys, go jump on the next bandwagon u lames,

the only reason u guys jumped on the taylor thing was because the "we love mj now" bandwagon was obviously going nowhere.

    u guys fail

  • Sampled off my favorite song MArvin Gaye Distant Lover

  • man this music has a voice, you know what i mean? you can feel him through the music unlike his new stuff.

  • i dont care about Talor,Kanye makes incredible music and thats the only thing thats important

  • FUCK U BITHCES KANYE GOO

  • Big fucking deal, he interrupted a country singer at the an MTV award ceremony, MTV people, if he had done it at the Oscars, then you've got something to moan about, but he didn't. Who gives a fuck, he's a great songwriter/producer, the best of our generation. The College Dropout is the second greatest hip-hop debut of all time (next to Nas' Illmatic)

  • couldn't agree more
