@lynn85kw Mine doesn't seem to WANT to swim, but if I let her in the water alone, I'm sure she would be able. I'm sure yours could do it too, she would just have to get used to it and not be afraid of it. Don't do it too much though because the back is very very fragile, we had to get mine operated, she was paralyzed from the waist down: worst few weeks EVER trust me!! So much care to give, but such great dogs aren't they :D

I wanna take my weenie swimming. I dont have a private pool. My condo has one but dogs arent allowed in. I'd take my weiner to the beach but he's scared of the ocean and i think the salt water would hurt his eyes.

oh no. not mine. he's absolutely terrified of the water. we tried to ease him into the pool. he freaked. every time we would go under water he would bark his head off until we came back up. lol, he likes to run though if that counts

hm... well... i think i know what the problem is... i believe you have a cute small backyard where your dog is "making its buisness" plus you feed it with a specially created for dogs food and it lives in a prfect world? well that's good, but i didn't create my dog the perfect world on porpuse. He loves forest, loves chasing foxes, loves walking and running for hours, loves open air and extreem... )) that's the perfect world for the hunting breed :)

we have an acre of grass and trees for him to run in. yeah we feed him dog food, but he loves to chase mice, bugs, and birds. he's hardly ever in doors because every time we let him in he'll sit on the couch for 5 minutes then go sit at the door and cry until we let him out. personally, i think he has his "perfect world." now my other one, he would love to live inside, and loves to sit around.. i think george just can't stand water in his ears..

I know how George feels, personally that is about my least favorite feelings, anything having to do with my ears and my hearing being impaired and I'm flippin the fuck out...(i'll have a panic attack even I hate it that much man its fuckin balls)
