When Adler left the band it basically ruined GnR... They were doomed. Although they put out another album without adler, he had been around writing most of those songs with the band. Eventually Izzy got sick of the band because of Adler being gone, it not being fun anymore and Axl in part. After Izzy left there was no chance.

Steve Adler is a neighbour of mine. He's a really sincere soul. He spends most of his time growing vegetables, and maybe a little "stuff" on the side. Why do people chastize him so much? He always invites me to his house for spaghetti bolognese and is the best host. Steve Adler performed a drum solo for me and my wife when we got married. He really put on a show. Towards the end, he was really struggling with the beats so we made sure he got a sincere gift from us - a trip to Delaware.
Maybe he should see this clip. He says himself no one comes out of cocaine & heroin use a winner. Does that make him a self proclaimed loser? I'm not baggin' on the guy, I'm pullin' for him but he's got to do the foot work and he clearly isn't trying. The grim reaper is in Steven's shadow and he knows his chance will come soon.

What story is it? He is still a drug addict. He was arrested in January for goodness sake. Guys like this don't recover. I also don't agree with him being the best drummer ever. When Adler left the band it basically ruined GnR... They were doomed. Although they put out another album without adler, he had been around writing most of those songs with the band. Eventually Izzy got sick of the band because of Adler being gone, it not being fun anymore and Axl in part. After Izzy left there was no chance.

Well since this aired nearly 14 years ago, Steven has continued to struggle with addiction. I hope the sober house truly does help him. He has the support, he just needs to make the right choices.

axl didnt feed drugs to steven - infact he was the only one in the band who wasnt an addict.
the decision to fire steven was made collectively by the whole band and slash agreed with this as well. just read his interviews from that time period.

Well, I've actually met 3 of the 5 personally, on MORE than a few occasions, and I can tell you that they all have their little "moments". But, even for someone who hasn't met them, its pretty obvious that Axl wasn't the sole downfall of the band, or the cause of anyone's problems. You can always tell who doesn't know what the hell they're talking about, because they're ALL riding the "Axl's a prick for no reason" bandwagon. ^.^

I've been watching Sober House and it looks like there's not much of a chance of him sobering up. Very sad. If you want to pick someone in your deadpool, Steven is a good choice. I hope I'm wrong, but watching him sneak in needles and heroin into Sober House makes you have realize it's probably too late. Sad sad sad. :(

I can see right through him when he talks to Dr. Drew ( I think Dr. Drew is HOT). I can't believe that Dr. Drew believes him when he says he wants to stop. That's tv I guess. At this point any chane at publicity he will take it. He hasn't hit his rock bottom yet. I hope he gets better but it's up to him to do it.

Steve Adler is a neighbour of mine. He's a really sincere soul. He spends most of his time growing vegetables, and maybe a little "stuff" on the side. Why do people chastize him so much? He always invites me to his house for spaghetti bolognese and is the best host. Steve Adler performed a drum solo for me and my wife when we got married. He really put on a show. Towards the end, he was really struggling with the beats so we made sure he got a sincere gift from us - a trip to Delaware.
