I believe that Pres. Obama & Sec. Clinton were obligated to give the big health insurance companies a BIG FAVOR in exchange for campaign funding. Although these companies will lose money because they can't refuse coverage of customers w/ "preexisting conditions," they will gain new customers to offset these costs. For the 1st time in U.S. history, the federal government is FORCING Americans to buy something from private companies! This is an outrage!
Its fun to see wing nuts like Arianna Huffington on the show so Eleanor does not have to fend for herself, but it is obvious that the intellectual heavy weights like Pat B was told to hold back in exposing her clownery.
I'm wondering what Monica is talking about when she says Obama tried 4 rationalizations with this bill. I have no idea what she means with that. Does she mean that she is talking for the American people who have rejected the bill at 47% against (at the highest)? That isn't a rounded rejection. Or does she mean how the Republican party has continuously rejected it over the last year on their disengagement agenda? Letting Fox News do their dirty work. Either way. She's disingenuous here.

John: The reason people are punished is because they did wrong, and to set an example, and because laws are sacred and need to be respected and because Moses said so. There is one more good reason to punish and if you know a lawyer ask him, he should know. To kill another is an extreme. People who join the Army so they can train to and go kill others like Iraqi, Afghans, Palestinians, whoever and where ever they are sent, those people . . . support the troops (war criminals).
Do a steelmillworker act wrong when he lose his insurance, because the mill company built a factory in South America which is more profitable and close the one local one? Is it his or her fault? If you then find yourself unemployed and discover a new tumor? Or you get hit by a car or your get angina? Have you done wrong? Fact is, there are many innocent reasons why people get ill and not have insurance.
