@Pinkishbass91 Then don't spend money on games for the PS3 if you already play games on a Xbox in the first place also if you're Xbox brakes then you have a backup console

The only time I'm going to buy a blu-ray is when I can have an option go on line with it. Before you know it, we'll be able to download or do an online streaming with an option of HD or blu-ray
The time to buy blu ray is when it's reasonably priced and you're looking with difficulty to buy antique dvds on ebay. Stuff the picture and sound upgrades; the enjoyment is in the content of the actual movie, and dvd is plenty sufficient to display that content.
please help! i just bought a 37" sharp aquos LCD tv but the picture is not as clear as while it's still displayed in the store. i am just using an ordinary standard definition dvd. should i get myself a high definition dvd player? or blu ray player? if i get blu ray, can i still play my standard definition dvd discs on blu ray? will it give me crystal clear picture?
A blu ray player will let you watch blu ray discs (high definition video... probably the crystal clear stuff from the store) and regular dvds (but those wont really look any better than with a regular dvd player). So... if you buy/rent blu-ray discs and watch them on a blu-ray player, you'll get a high definition image. Before you buy one, check 'em out online (cnet is a good place), and make sure you're getting the right cables to connect to your tv.

I still prefer having a physical copy so you have the movie plus special features, and don't have to wait a hour or more for the movie to download.

buy a ps3. dont buy a blu-ray player. ps3 has the best playback for blu-ray and it can update itself. for the money you get a good deal too.
