Camry, I have citizenship but lived my life in middle east, I'm looking forward to study Mechanical Engineering, how about if i'm planning to get scholarship in one of the states Universities? what do I need plus the hard work that I have to show up ? I'm 1993
I study 25 hours of calculus a week, and a total of 36 hours a week. Now I remember why I do this- to get into the mechanical engineering department at Colorado state University. This has inspired me to get the grades I need in the hardest classes offered in college- physics, math, chemistry.
I watched this back in 2010, and I will graduate 2011 in B.S. of Aerospace Engineering, and minor in Physics. I am so happy, my life dream goal has been achieved. I hope there's a job waiting out there for me.
@SaiVihtooMyint Hey, I want to Major in physics and Minor in Aeronautical engineering, then become a Naval Aviator. Where did you study, and how were your experiences?
@Aeroshell08 I studied at Western Michigan University, my professors were amazing though they would vary from university to university but my professors were very hands on, often going out of his way so we could see or even get hands of experiences. I plan on joining the USAF to get even more experiences. Physics wasn't my best but it was needed for me to get into Aerospace Engineering at WMU. Lots of hard work, but I can tell you when you get that degree you'll feel amazing, good luck!
guys i've a small quest in ma mind....ppl say dat aeronautical engineers don get much space for their personal lyf...is dat true???....coz m so fond of aeronautics..... anyone whose well in dis plz do reply..
@MultiManishj I work as an aeronautical engineer in the aircraft maintenance field and it is true , we spent a lot of time at the workplace, sometimes weeks away from home performing heavy check consultancy work abroad. if your social life matters to you so much then have a thought about choosing this career. hope my advice helps you.
i loved it. Even though i like all the formulas and the drawings... theres nothing about aircrafts that interests me other that the "why" factor.. I dont know, but there's something about bridges that puts a smile on my face.. CIVIL HERE I COME!
@aditya5085 Actually maths is really important in aeronautical engineering, maths is fundamental for your whole career. Anyway it's all on your own, i mean you just have to work on it! At first i was not very good at it, but now i think i have very good skills and thanks to my sacrifice and willingness studying every day hard!
I believe every aeronautical engineer can have a wonderful career!
All i wanted to be is a aeronautical engineer but in the environment i live in is all related to gangs and violence so this makes a fear in my mind that i wont be able to do such thing ;(
Epic music man. I'm being forced into aeronautical engineering because my parents say I can't be a pilot. Atleast I'll still get a ppl! Btw what's the music/song name it's soo epicly amazing!!!!¡
@spykids2007 actually, aeronautical is categorized under aerospace. astronautical is also under aerospace, but that's the one that deals with rockets, satellites, etc.

"the air passing the upper surface moves a longer distance in the same time..."
this is the biggest misconception in all of aerospace studies, and has no physical foundation whatsoever.
