Protecting local car makers is NOT the way to go! When there's no competition, there's no reason for us to be better than we are now! When there's no competition, there is no incentive to innovate! And THAT is why local cars are looked down upon, because we charge stupidly high tax for imported cars just to PROTECT local car makers! Local car makers, make something that WE can be proud of, then there would be no need to have the stupid taxation for imported cars!

Everybody is entitled to an opinion. It's just a car program, chill guys. What's not cool is the foul language on this thread by people who clearly are malaysian... Not to mention the bad grammar. If you want to curse, the least you can do is to do it properly. Jeremy is comparing it to other cars in it's class and let's be honest, in the uk and in it's class, the savvy is at best average.

@insidemanXD the proton inspira is indeed built on the chasis and design of a lancer as it was an design exchange between proton & mitsubishi..a swap for the exora chasis for the lancer...plus proton is based on mitsubishi design & engineering...tha first proton saga in 1985 was a colaboration between proton & mitsubishi so i dun think its dat big a deal...
