i'd be curious to know what's the backtrack ?? :) thx

  • you look like John Lennon

  • Hi! is posible make Loops in the GR33? and if is posible to use like a single multi efects for guitar? Thanks a lot!

  • @arlequin431 I'm afraid the answewr is no to both....

  • @arlequin431 thanks again.

  • Wonderful, thanks.

  • abi senin gibi müzisyen adamların synth ile mynth ile ne işi olur? :)

  • Sorry but I'm not so expert about this kind of tools: does it have to be connected to the send/return or to the amp's input?

    Thanks a lot! Nice video!

  • Actuallyu it has to be plugged into a PA system, not guitar amps.

  • hi. i have 1 quesiton. when i play with gr33 with gk2a the same note in the same string, there are some problems, as for example there are notes that im not plaing... have you too this problem?

  • That will happen always..The tech is not perfect yet..You need to play really clean..But the accasional unexpecteds are welcomed by me....you know??

  • maybe because you dont do "arpeggio" with the piano...

  • nice vid. but i need some help. i have a fender strat and a gr 33 roland pedal with it. i cant play snyth and my guitar at the same time anymore. use to be able to. its either i use the snyth or my guitar. i thought it might be the guitar cord but it wasnt. anyone kno how i can fix it? maybe its in the pick-up? wat can i do to fix it...

  • I had similiar problem. Make sure you have the mini cable plugged in that goes from the guitar output to the GK-2A input. It is easy to overlook. I did. According to Roland, check out your cables and make sure connections are clean. If all else fails, you can, take in the controller and the module to have someone look at it.

  • Make sure the pole pieces on the pickup are quite close to the strings otherwise there will be no signal?

    This is very important.

  • lame comments...

  • VERY NICE demonstration! I have a GR-33 and love it! It's great for recording all kinds of tracks for all types of music. It also lets you design your own sounds, AND lets you plug into other MIDI devices....from sequencers to sound modules. I recommend the GR-33 to any guitarist who has a small home studio and wants to add a new dimension to their recording. And when you hear the GR-33 in STEREO you'll love it. Try pluging-in to a PA system and you'll be amazed!

  • I totally agree with you on this gentlemans demo of the gr 33. I bought one brand new in 2002 and there is so many different tones based on the jv 1080 i believe. tasteful, easy to use. I wrote a lot of my own patched between groups A to E. I recently bought another gr 33 of a guy that didnt know what he had. what i would like to do is somehow write all my edited tones to the computer or my mc-50 sequencer and then pass it into my other gr 33, im hoping that procedure is possible.

  • and about what you said about the gr 33 through a good sound system. i am with you all the way. with our band, i go directly to the p.a system and the tone is monsterous. it really shines. some of the other features i love include the arpeggiator, hold. I wrote a patch where the 6th and 5th string has a bass guitar sound and the other 4 stings have a piano. i love that combo, i do some simple jazz lines that way. anyways. from one gr 33 user to another, cheers to you and this gentleman playing.

  • great demonstration, thank you ;)
