The white shroud around the deceased body should be plain, should not have emblems or writing of the Quran, nor have flowers. These things do no benefit the soul only they nullify the purity of the shroud. Whatever Quranic verses he uttered through his mouth when alive is sufficient for his hereafter, his children become his Sadqah Jariah -Fullstop.
These other rituals do not benefit the dead but disadvantage them
