  • I totally agree with you 1176epr, it is very reminiscent of Irving Aaronson's excellent Victor recording! Thumbs totally up for these guys!

  • WOW! This is one of the best sounding modern groups I've heard. Closed my eyes and really thought I was listening to a 20's record. These guys really sound well together, and the hard work they've committed here shows, well done!

  • @AAErikCO yes and this is the exact composition of typical '20s bands---4 rhythm instruments (tuba/sousaphone, drums, piano, banjo) and 5 instruments carrying the melody.

  • This is a fine performance, reminiscent of the Irving Aaronson recording.

  • super !

  • I know this tune from the Fletcher Henderson Dixie Stompers recording. The trombone solo on this Andor's Jazz band reminds me of Charlie Green's on the original Henderson recording. The clarinet section on the Andor's recording also reminds me of the Henderson Dixie Stompers.

  • Very authentic sounding.
