  • The way.

  • Of course it's not wrong to get saved to escape Hell but it should be God's immense and perfect love that we see through the Gospel. I was saved to escape Hell, we shouldn't also use it to scare people to getting saved. It's just not that we we're supposed to use it Biblically.

  • wowww!! amazing

  • What is wrong with accepting Christ to escape hell? Hell is eternal!! Jesus Christ payed the price so that we don't have to suffer in an eternal hell. Accepting him to escape hell will only give us a deep appreciation for the love that Christ has for us, and leads to us loving Him! I am grateful that I don't need to spend eternity in hell! I love you Jesus! THANK YOU! Whatever your reason is for loving Christ, you will accept Him and escape Hell and spend eternity with Him!

  • LET'S GO!

  • I'm not a preacher but im a writer who gave a short lecture about the lack of funding of missionaries in Asia and my sister played this video before i spoke. Man, this gave me goosebumps. the song is bittersweet and heartbreakingly beautiful. the video shattered me.

  • You don't just accept Jesus just to "excape" hell. That is so wrong!

  • god lol

  • amazing video

  • @anangrycat If you understood properly world history of the past several hundred years you would know that those nations in which people have been rescued from misery and grinding poverty are those in which the Gospel of Jesus has flourished. This is not because of the exploitation of the weak or disadvantaged but because people have been freed by the true Word of God and the Holy Spirit from oppressive superstition and rulers who use fear to govern. God's Word in the nations has set them free.

  • There is something evident in the fact that people flee to, rather than from, ostensibly Christian nations. Even those that are somewhat screwed up are far better to live in than the alternatives.

  • @anangrycat If you were a real christian you would realize the need for spiritual well being AS WELL AS physical well being. How long does physical well being last? 40-60 years? Spiritual well being with Christ is eternal.

  • speaker at start -> "we are the only escape"... Heaven is NOT our escape...

If we believe heaven is the escape from earth which God has wonderously created then I am troubled by our theology and judgement of God's character.

  • @simeonhanscamp The speaker at the start is talking about how God is the only escape from HELL, not our material world or Heaven.

  • we need population control

  • If the USA would stop fighting illegal wars all over the world, we could feed all the hungry and take care of the afflicted. What people don't realize is that the exploitation of 3rd world countries by the big banks is the main reason why there so much poverty. Not only that but we've killed over 100,000 in Iraq. The global elites want the population to decline. They've planned it. Its happening.

  • @southlandproject

Do your homework before commenting, you come across as an uneducated person with your nonsense.

  • @stap0510 Do your homework before replying to comments, read John Perkins' "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" then decide for yourself.

  • Don't miss the point of the video friends ...

Alleviating sickness & suffering is only in man's power to help when it comes to food, clothes, medicine etc. Man's remedies are all temporal because earthly suffering is temporal. The greatest suffering is for man to spend an eternity separated from the One who created them...Christ died on the cross to remedy the greatest possible suffering, He died to reconcile man to God as we're all dying & leaving this earth.

The urgency is we WILL die!

  • This video is DISGUSTING. passively suggesting that the reason for suffering and poverty is because they don't follow Christianity? Converting to Christianity will NOT solve these poor people's problems - aid and practical solutions will. If any of you were real Christians you would see that alleviating a person's immediate suffering, regardless of race, age, sex OR creed, is more important than converting them.

  • The poor & lost of the world have fallen victim to the false prosperity doctrines preached in many western churches today. Christ's good news of love, forgiveness, salvation and healing is rarely directed at those who are unlikely to bring hefty tithes and offerings to 'sheperds' who ravenously pursue the love of money over charity. This vile indictment on the 'church' will not move until we humble ourselves and repent for our greed-driven backsliding.

  • This touched my heart. <3

  • Lol is this a joke? Quit wasting your damn time.

  • @ladygagaspenis Go back to sleep you heartless asshat

  • @ladygagaspenis What do you do with your time then? This is what we do, i dont care if your disgusted by it or not i''ll keep doing it. if you were to ever end up on the streets i'd help you

  • Continued (2) ... of the world still has not heard the good news. America is in a scary spiritual state and it will not get any better by filling peoples heads with knowledge. What seminaries SHOULD BE FOCUSED ON is the importance of knowing Jesus and having a genuine relationship with the living God. 85-90% of the stuff they teach seminaries is inapplicable to missions, and spreading the good news. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!

  • Theologians that primarily intellectually live out the word. He wants people THAT ARE YEARNING FOR HIM People that are diligently seeking after HIM! People that LIVE out his word, not just in their heads. In America we have the most Seminaries and Bible schools and yet America is still not on Fire for God. My question is What in the world are people doing at these schools? Certainly not Evangelism? NO! there just running aimlessly waiting to get there next degree and move on. While the rest...

  • Continued... Surrender, the church in America is NOT doing what it should be. People are so selfish and concerned with THERE OWN LIVES that they WILLINGLY CHOOSE to look the other way when God calls them! I'm not saying that there are not obedient and true Christians, what I'm saying is that Americans are way too comfortable, people love the thrill of getting a PHD in theologies so that they can debate with others and raise there status in society. Here is the thing, Jesus doesn't want...

  • @Joep77887 yes, these people do not feel it, but that is the job of the holy spirit. Dont worry, if they are true Christians then God will make them see, it is not our job to force people into feeling this way. Also remember that you cannot always feel that way, you will be put through trials. Once you've overcome the trial you then are closer to God and have grown spiritually. If we do not grow than how will we know God?

  • @ilikethisand Yes, that's Is very true, I agree with you completely. It is the Holy spirits Job to reveal truth to people. :) And I will say that It is a growing process and that I don't want to stand and point the finger at others because of their faults. I myself have to remove the Log out of my own eye... haha Lead by example, Love others and pray for those who don't fully see or feel it yet. I myself am still learning but the Lord is faithful to lead us. And guide us. :D

  • If you all don't mind I would like to state a few things on my heart...

One of the real serious problems with the American church today is that people have LOST a fascination for God. People are not seeking God their just going through the Christian motions and putting on a show. Deep in our hearts we don't want to give it all up. in Matthew 16:24 Jesus say's If anyone would come after me let him DENY HIMSELF take up his cross and follow me. (paraphrased) Because people are not living in full..

  • @MegaAngrycat Agreed.

  • We fight the enemies at home - before we can make the world right. Missionaires abroad busy converting oppressed villagers in the bush to Christianity need to consider staying there - esp. if they're from the UK or EU - as there won't be a Christian nation for them to return to. BTW, you don't have to travel to Asia to see "millions in absolute poverty and oppression" just open your backdoor and look around in your own neighborhood.

  • @tinketteful If you're a Christian, you're a missionary. God commands us to make disciples of ALL NATIONS (Matt28:19). That is our mission as Christians, whether that be locally or abroad. We don't "consider" where we ought to go. We go because we are SENT. God Himself commissions us. We spread the Gospel where there is need. There is definitely a need in the UK/ EU. I praise God, b/c He's given you a heart for your nation, just as God has given the missionaries in Asia a heart for Asia.

  • @BananaHappyness - yes, agree with every point you made. LOL! Every single one. Thank you.

  • @tinketteful The latest statistic I got from a student missions mobilizer agency, finds that 88% of the unreached people are living in the 1040 window. How many missionaries do you think ought to be in this area? Only 4% of all missionaries in the world are in this area. Those ~2.5 billion people living in the 1040 window cannot afford to lose those 4% of missionaries, for their eternal salvation is at stake.

  • The UK is being taken-over by Islam - in fact, the entire EU is. The US and Canada is being overrun covertly today - within another 5-10 years, where will they be? Christians have abandoned their homebase to "GO, and preach the gospel" elsewhere, yet our own homes are being spiritually neglected. We "TEACH" by example as Jesus did. If our own "Christian" nations are morally/spiritually bankrupt, what are we "preaching" to others? We spread the gospel where there is need - especially at HOME.

  • @tinketteful I live in the United States I am from sin city, and I can tell you there are many many churches there many Bible believing, Christ proclaiming churches. the same is true here in the BIble belt. The issue is that Christianity as we know it today has become a bumper sticker. For the most part Christians are complacent, we could change the world and especially our community, but that would require giving up the comfort zone and denying ourselves

  • I believe in mission work - especially at home. I believe in the necessity of removing the plank from one's eye before trying to remove a splinter from other's. What I mean is - exotic cultures and travel, while interesting and alluring, our own backyards need attending first. Our own "Christian culture" has been grossly neglected and perverted. Much work to be done here at home - where are these missions?

  • @tinketteful congregations are filled with Sunday christians not real living active Christians. I believe every person is called, and sometimes very specific, however I think some who are called to foreign missions overlook that and go for what is easy and makes them feel safe like staying at home and teaching sunday school. Sorry if that is harsh, but frankly we focus a lot on inreach not outreach

  • @CrazyAboutChrist10 - Some are called to foreign missions and decide, for whatever reasons, to remain home. And others are called to serve the Lord specifically at home where His Word has not been taught for decades and when it has, it's been distorted and twisted beyond comprehension. There are several generations in the US, Canada and UK that are spiritually illiterate just as they are in every other sense. Wherever the Lord gives us a burning passion to serve Him is where we belong.

  • Great video!

  • awesome video...what encouragement to the church to get off of their butts and do what God has called them to do!!!! the time is short and the day is at hand!

  • We need to pray for the missionaries on the field... we need to... badly... I read an article just now and my heart cries out.. specially for the muslims,,, they are badly deceived,, this article was saying that missionaries are there to rape, kidnap and kill... unbelievable things these writers are saying, sadly, some of their public believes.. we need to pray for our missionaries.. this is not a battle against flesh but principalities... we need to battle with them in prayers...

  • @steffanielyn Amen

  • Jesus is the only Way to God; He is the only risen King. He said to "Go" preach the gospel of the Kingdom.

  • Yeshua Hamashiach

  • We must get up, stop looking to politics, and realize that ONLY Jesus can change a person. Democracy can't. Republicans can't. Capitalism can't. Church attendance can't. And then, when really believe this, we will go. I have gone. May more come alongside us and together serve the great King!

  • @iSRaTeCk The One you await has already come. ALL GLORY TO JESUS CHRIST, THE LORD GOD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @iSRaTeCk I will pray for you, for I love you lost soul. Jesus is the Messiah. He is our Salvation. He value's you and know GOD loves you with a passion, for God sent Jesus to die on a cross and then rise again for you! If you don't know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, if you do not have a personal relationship with Him, take a moment now to ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and to come and live in you. He is our HOPE. Know JESUS, KNOW PEACE.Email me spasdon@gmail.com to pray or learn more.

  • @iSRaTeCk You are right; HE is the Messiah...

  • @salma3022 You don't understand the gospel which is why you call it suicide. God did not commit suicide, he allowed his Son, Jesus to be murdered. There's a difference. Why? Because without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness for sins. Sin is that bad, evil in God's eyes who is Holy, pure and righteous. Sin must be atoned for, removed from the sinner so they can be 'at one' with God, the way God always intended it. In order for this to happen, the Jews did it through animal sacrifices

  • @salma3022 so that every year they would offer a sacrifice to God for their sins. Jesus came to be the once and for all sacrifice by laying his life down on the Cross. He did it so that by you and I believing in Him we would be forgiven and made right and have eternal life with our Creator and Saviour in Heaven. God has shown you and the world great mercy and love by doing this even though we deserve hell for the sins we've committed. He suffered so that we might live and be free from sin&shame

  • @salma3022 Before you judge our religion you should first study it cause one you sound like an idiot cause you got it wrong he sacraficed himself for us! and two if you hate this so much dont tell everyone and dont commett on this.....

  • @salma3022 He did it, only because He loves us. Thats the difference between our God and the others that people choose to follow

  • @salma3022 Jesus was perfect, and in the old testament when they sacrificed animals they had to be clean animals or the best animal out of the others. Jesus was the perfect human, and God loves us so much that he would die for us. Like how we tell people we love we would die for them or do anything for them, well God actually did

  • @salma3022 thanks for asking :) Because God is loving but God also upholds justice. The law says the price/penalty of sin is death. For that all of us will die. God needs to uphold this law, at the same time he loves us too much to live without us, he therefore sent Jesus to die for us, so that the price of death is paid once and for all. And now we can all be restored to our original place - sons and daughters of God. We just need to repent and accept his gift of salvation

  • thanks for asking :) because God is both just and loving. The price/penalty of sin is death. But God loves us too much to let us die spiritually and leave him forever, so he sent Jesus to die for us. Jesus' death pays the price for our sins once and for all and restores us to our original state - sons and daughters of God. We just need to confess our sins and accept him as Lord and Saviour. Do ask more, search and you will find. Jesus is waiting for you :)

  • Only way for salvation is being rightiousness and doing good things while avoiding bad things and crimes. And respect all creations including ourselves. How can respect all creations ? - Believe in One creator . and not worshiping creations. It will give every one freedom, tolerance , human rights, woman rights ,animals rights, democracy, respects for environment , Pure monotheism will wipe Proud , arroganism, dictation & complex. The Biggest sin is abusing or abused by other creations!!

  • @salma3022 there are two ways of salvation - 1. like you said being "righteous" which the God Yahweh of the bible says there is no righteous man - all have sinned and fallen short of His glorious righteousness which leads us to the other way 2. exchange our unrighteousness for the righteousness of God provided for by God in Jesus the Savior's death on the cross. He became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God. To reject God's son, is to reject God's righteousness, thus lost.

  • @salma3022

    Dear, make a logical effort:

You should know 'The 10 Commandments' very well, so, let you consider in your heart:

have not you ever lied or stolen, etc.?

If yes, you are condemned to death by God of the Bible.

But if not, so you make the God a liar, because Bible claims all people have sinned.

According to the Bible, the payment for sin is death.

But in Tawrah it could be made 'unseen' by bloody animal sacrifices in the altar in the Temple.

    tbc

  • @salma3022

    cont'd

Now, if our sins could be wiped out, it requires sinless one, who could do it. In consequence, Jesus paid the death price & now we are Jesus's ownship.

Even if you disagrees - you have just one choice: or you submit to Jesus to be forgiven for your sins,

or you will become subject to God's law - 'who will sin, that will die' (Ezekiel 18.20).

    ---

'Pure monotheism' - do you mean Islam? It rather don't works on many grounds, and proofs are everywhere.

    Greetings

  • This is the best video I have seen in some time. Well done! And "May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering"!

  • Absolutely amazing!!!!!

  • Where can I find this entire John Piper message?

  • @kevinlivingston777 Desiring God website. 'I am sending you out as sheep amongst the wolves' is the sermon by Piper.

  • Blessed art thou who are free from the chains of sin,

listen to me, read what I type, read it carefully

If you have any doubt in your heart right now that you are going to Heaven, God is ready to damn you to Hell, you need to join God's side, your life isn't a game, and any year now it will end and you'll stand before the judge....

    Are you ready?

because if your not, Hell is your price to pay...

  • Where did you get the John Piper sermon? I would like to listen to the whole message.

  • I was trying to hold back tears....slowly i thinl our church is becoming more aware about missions, but, as the toher videos point out in the JP website, i realized our budget for missions is very little. I guess we can do w/o an increase in our youth budget, because we need to give to missions more. This is so heartbreaking.

  • Thank you for uploading this video. I wept for hours after watching this. I have always had a heart for missions and now I am reminded of how many people need to hear the Gospel. It's our responsibility and only a few actually carry out this vital service to the many around the world. It was really convicting...thanks again.

  • Can anyone tell me what is the name of the song after Tears of the saints by leeland? The Hallelujah Song.. whos the artist? Thanks alot!!!

  • It's called 'What A Friend I've Found' by Delirious.

  • Firstly, how do you arrive at 2 billion 'unreached' people in the world??? There are only 2 billion Christians in the world. That leaves 4 BILLION NON-CHRISTIANS!! (i.e. the majority of the world!)

  • @Katya2 An unreached or least-reached people is a people group among which there is no indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize this people group.

  • @Katya2 They were not talking about the unsaved. They were speaqking of the unreached. People who have never heard of Jesus Christ are unreached.

  • Secondly, 21 of the World's 50 poorest countries are MAJORITY CHRISTIAN, including Haiti and the Democratic Republic of Congo - two of the World's Most Violent Countries.

Don't you think it's a little hypocritical to equate poverty with 'unreached' peoples, when Christianity hasn't helped 42% of the World's poorest countries! How about sending your 'missionaries' to help elevate the poverty of people who are ALREADY CHRISTIANS!

  • @Katya2 Poverty is irrelevant compared to an eternity in Hell. That is what will be in store for the unsaved people, which is why its called the tears of the saints. We should be mourning the loss of souls not of lives.

  • @7cmyers We should be mourning both. Jesus wept when he saw how the people responded to Lazarus' death. There's nothing wrong with showing compassion at people's lives of poverty or being destitute. The Gospel when it is proclaimed in it's truest sense, is both Spiritual and Holistic.

  • @Katya2 Having spent tons of time i]n Haiti, it is not majority Christian n the widest stretch of the imagination. Voodoo is the predominant religion there. Syncretism w/Catholicism may have it show up n statistics as 'Catholic' but pure Catholic beliefs don't involve sacrifices, curses.... Understand that statisticians who call a place 'Christian' may be doing nothing more than tabulating someone's responses on a piece of paper. True Christianity involves more than a checkmark on some paper

  • Thirdly, your use of surreptitious editing montages of shots of miserable, impoverished people interlaced with shots of people practicing their religious faiths is manipulative and dishonest - trying to fool people into subconsciously equating the practice of nonChristian faiths with misery. I can only presume you had to resort to such tactics because you couldn't find footage of people practising their faiths miserably. Their faith is not the cause of poverty, and your faith is not the answer!

  • Katya, look into the fundamental basics of the Hindu religion before you make your comments like 'their faith is not the cause of poverty'. DO you know about the Hindu caste system that places the Dalit's as lower than animals in terms of human worth? What about fundamental Islam that causes millions to be bound up in religious practices? Or spirit worship or animism that causes millions of tribal people to live in fear of spirits and result in many practising human sacrifice etc?

  • I would probably try actually going to these countries first before judging their cultures... Christians who do the job of missions properly won't change cultures, unless there are cultural traditions that oppose the gospel, i.e child sacrifice, worship of spirits etc etc I've been to muslim, hindu and buddhist countries and I've seen millions in absolute poverty and oppression.

  • Wow. Both condescending and naive. Impressive.

I have actually visited quite a few of these countries. I haven't see a difference in poverty and oppression between Christian and non-Christian 3rd world countries. And I've met Christians living in the slums of India side by side with their Hindu and Muslim neighbours, all equally as poor.

Poverty and oppression is caused by a myriad of interdependent factors, (such as colonialism, debt, war, natural disasters). Religion is only one small part.

  • Granted. Christians are poor too, I never said they weren't. I'm talking more about Spiritual oppression more than being poor. You haven't explained the massive issue of the 150+million Dalits in India who are considered 'untouchable' because of Hindu beliefs. What about the practice of 'Sati' where widows would throw themselves on the funeral pyre of their dead husbands or be forced to... until WIlliam Carey the missionary had this outlawed in the 1800s... there's two of many examples.

  • @Katya2 Wow. You clearly haven't visited these countries long enough to see what is really going on in these countries. Having lived in these countries all my life, I see things from a different perspective. The difference between the Christian and non-Christian 3rd world poor is that the Christians love, serve, forgive and pray for their next-door neighbours who have nothing, all the while getting killed by the very people they are loving so selflessly.

  • @Katya2 This isn't religion as religion is and has been one of if not Gods biggest enemies throughout history. This is about a personal relationship with JESUS CHRIST who became poor so that we might become rich. We have been blessed with every blessing in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus and I pray that you will have your heart opened to this understanding. You are amazing I am quite sure and there is enough love at the foot of the cross for us all. Much love and God bless You.

  • @Katya2

Maybe you could be disappointed by my claim,

yet it is no sense to claim that poverty comes from things you enumerated. Otherwise you omit experiences of Western countries.

The main source of poverty is MENTALITY.

Eg. Main part of Europe was DEVASTATED in WW1 & WW2, yet the countries are between the reachest in the Earth.

This what make the difference is CHANGING mentality, eg. implementing Christian values:

love, equality, no slavery, honesty, etc.

    Greetings

  • @Acts1v8 It is ashame that our American culture is not changed from sacrificing children.

  • Stop being so egocentric and start acting like REAL Christians - show compassion, humility and tolerance. Use your resources to alleviate the true suffering of poverty, and leave people to find comfort and peace in their own faiths, rather than bribing and blackmailing people to conversion.

  • There is nothing egocentric about being evangelistic. You obviously know nothing about the Bible otherwise you would know that the mission of Christians was given to use by Christ after he rose to go and make disciples of all nations... you say 'show compassion'!! I know that not all Christians are perfect (we never suggest we are)... but Christians are responsible for more 'compassion' worldwide and throughout the centuries than any other types of people.

  • The whole point is people can't find comfort in their own faiths because they are all religious man seeking god religions whereas Christianity is God seeking man. Jesus came into the world to save sinners, to die for the sins of all who would believe, to show God's great love and mercy for a sin cursed world. It's a relationship, not religion that we are taking into the world. To offer people a change of heart not just a change of life that only God can give them.

  • @Katya2 Preaching tolerance will send people straight to Hell. Jesus Christ never once taught to be tolerant. Jesus Christ taught, "I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). There is no other way and teaching another way will only send people to Hell.

  • @7cmyers Who's preaching tolerance?

  • @Acts1v8 I was actually responding to a comment on this page yesterday that said to preach less pushy and more tolerance. The same commenter also focused on the issue of poverty instead of the issue of eternity.

  • @Katya2 You're entitled 2 have your own opinion but that doesn't make it true. Saying a real Christian would leave people to find comfort & peace n their own faiths says u know little about Christianity. It's false as well 2 think most people who become Christians r bribed or blackmailed nto it. Clearly you're reading or listening 2 skewed nfo, not checking it out yourself. I've been a missionary for 25 yrs living n dumps, showing compassion so come visit me 2 find out what's really going on.

  • Once again, I hope you can contribute to the alleviation of poverty and suffering on earth, there is much work in that regard to be done, but please please respect other cultures and religion and keep your beliefs as a personal identity.

  • Jesus said that he was the only way to God. Jesus came into the world to save sinners and to die for the whole world. Yes, it's a personal relationship and we do respect cultures but we know the outcome for everyone who rejects Christ, whether British, Somali or Han Chinese is an eternity in Hell. God wants them to know they can be saved through trusting in Jesus... not religion, not going to church, not being a good person, but through faith in the grace of God. That's why we do what we do.

  • the most beautiful thing about our world is the DIVERSITY and rich HISTORY and RELIGION that makes up humanity, as you say in the film 16000 people groups in the world. I don't imagine you would appreciate Hindus or Muslims or any other religions coming into Christian communities forcing their beliefs on you and planting temples or mosques in Christian neighbourhoods. Please don't continue causing more damage than good such as lessons learned from the Aboriginal Australian stolen generation.

  • @littlepurplediamond Hindus & Muslims r doing this & r 'allowed' to do it as Christianity allows u to make your own decision. It's ridiculous 2 talk about Christians 'forcing' beliefs now. Yeah, u can go back 2 previous generations but let's talk about now. Temples and mosques r planted n Christian neighborhoods all the time. But Christians don't burn them or kill the people. Christians believe n the truth of Jesus & what He said, & that allows choice. Nothing wrong n presenting that choice.

  • ... The end of this video has some sobering facts that are very important, Wilberforce's quote at the end is fantastic, we can not ignore the plight of POVERTY, UNEQUAL DISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH & SOCIAL injustice such as persecution on the basis of religion. It is admirable and encouraging that missions want to reach some of the poorest people on earth but the means that it is achieved has no recognition of others DIGNITY CULTURE and pre-existing RELIGIONS that may date Christianity.

  • yes some do predate Christianity obviously because it's only 2000 years old. Even Judaism etc. But, we're not a religion, we simply have faith in the one creator God, Adonai, Yahweh, The Lord Almighty etc who made all things and sent his Son Jesus to be a sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. That's not religion, that's life! Jesus said "I come to give you life and life eternal".

  • Regardless of their culture, they can still be wrong if it is not the truth. That's what Christianity states, that Jesus is the only Truth. Christianity should never be used or regarded as insult toward another culture. Christianity should exist within culture and show the untruth in all other religions and immoral cultural practices.

  • I think this video is shocking, the fact that you want to penetrate through cultures, plant the church has no respect for the history and culture of millions and millions of people. The images of people in this video live in their own culture and religion. There are other ways to reach 'heaven' it may be 'paradise' 'nirvana 'valhalla' 'Tian' 'Janna' 'Devachan 'dreamtime'....The planet we share has billions of people all with unique & individual culture & spiritual beliefs. Please RESPECT others.

  • Read Luke 19:16 and tell me if this is a matter of respecting other beliefs. We respect people, culture, but we don't respect the satanic lies that have fed millions of people for centuries a load of religious beliefs that have them fooled that their gods can save them if they constantly appease them whilst living in total oppression (i.e the dalits)

  • What is the name of the preacher at the begining and end?

  • @Dandy4Candy john piper.

  • @tomaster190 thank you :)

  • The fact that they're poor has less to do with their religion and more to do with the climate culture. The colder countries, including Russia, have natural effect on people to want to survive. The "banana theory" is ascribed to the warmer side of the equator where people never progressed in the survival aspect, because there is no winter to prepare ahead for. They live for the day! There is not much planning for the future...

  • It is not because of the "god" they choose to worship that they are poor! This is a wrong idea! Even Jesus said that rich wont enter the Kingdom of God! But if you wanna go to those countries, plant greedy corporations and promise them a new richer life, you wont make any difference in the state of their spiritual being at all! In fact, we Christians have much to learn from the Buddhist monks in my opinion. For one, at least they do not judge!

  • @NickKhivren You're an interesting 'Christian.' Having worked n 60 impoverished nations n the world over the last 25 yrs, the banana theory doesn't even come close 2 explaining it. There r many warm climate cultures which r developed & plan 4 the future. Many of the Africans I work w/would LOVE 2 prepare 4 the future but have no resources to do so.

And your facts r wrong. Places that Christianity has been introduced & truly taken hold always have a 'lift' away from poverty.

    Truth isn't judgment

  • 10000 stars amazing video!

  • gawd I just love this song

  • God said "Whom shall I send?" The great commission was a command not an option. And this video is exactly why I am called to missions.

  • These people look for the true life.

Life sucks when you have no hope. Jesus is who gives hope to people who promises HEAVEN IF YOU ONLY JUST BELIEVE THAT HE DIED FOR YOU.

You have no hope when you have no trust. Jesus Christ is someone you can completely trust in. There are way too many witnesses trusting in God and they receive much in return.

  • Excellent video!

  • Some say, why tell these people about your God, when they have their own gods? I say, look at the eyes of these people; see what their god does for them. Look at the lack of hope, lack of joy, lack of peace, horrible poverty. There is no other name under heaven by which men can be saved, other than Jesus Christ (Isa).

  • great video, sad sad statistics

  • Why is that we can know this yet nothing changes... Knowledge itself does not make a difference action does. In our current western culture we have a major problem in that we have become more aware and more apathetic.
