Here is a note: You can put ALL settings to high, except shadows, shaders, and object quality (they stay on low), and you will get almost no reduction in frame-rate.

By the way, if you watch the video on high quality, you won't get any of the 5 frames per second BS.

"High" is still the same crappy video I made with Windows Movie Maker, it won't look as good as it does in game.

Did you damage the vehicles first? because they normally dont blow up by one frag when not damaged.

thanks for watching. I don't quite know what you mean when you say one frag. at the beginning of the last segment you'll see that the explosion can be initiated with any weapon.

to perhaps answer your question more directly, the vehicles weren't damaged, at least not intentionally afaik, before the explosion. 8 or 10 barrels going off at once = not much more is necessary, aside from the hours spent gathering and positioning after claiming the level.

I run Crysis on a 7150m. In an open area, it can actaully hit 25 FPS.  And tell me, how do open the sandbox editor? I downloaded it to my flash, btw.

I don't understand why the developers opted to let the vehicles which are thrown up in the air descend so slowly, especially when everything else in the environment at ground-level is moving in real-time.

Seems odd....cool looking game though.

It's a physics modification from within the console. Basically, you can change how heavy things are and how strong the pull of gravity is.

The grenades he throws, unless they're aimed straight to the ground, float as well.

And if he jumped, it would be a dead giveaway - it would look like he was walking on the moon.

With the gravity CVARs set to their regular states, the grenade wouldn't actually lift the cars much at all. And then this video wouldn't have big explosions...

the grenades don't float (..straight down...?). maximum strength was used for the throws. additionally, maximum strength increases jump height. end of story, no dev command was used. one thing I'm curious about is what's this 'giveaway' thingy?

like the shotgun blast, the grenade was simply a trigger. if you care to, have a closer look.

We have a machine here that has an AMD 4000+ that will be getting an ATI 3850 512MB agp card. Right now it has a 1950 Pro 512MB as well as 2GB main system memory, and 800x600 medium settings is playable. Will let you know how the 3850 plays the demo.

Beat the level, and tote. If you try to carry a barrel or gas can in a truck you won't make it.

you know on any other setting aside from HIGH or VERY HIGH, not only are the graphics capped, the Physics are also capped. If you think this looks good, wait till you see it after.
