@wonderwaffle808 wwell, if you donwloaded the correct adv_duplicator and put it in the right place, it should be created AFTER the next time you play garrysmod. You might need to save something in it ingame first, I dont know.

@flibberdagibbet the folder manager should work for making folders and deleting files, i don't know why you get an error. what kind is it? does the game crash or does it just say error in the adv folder manager?

The easiest way to get it is to go to Glua.net and download the wire download, Adv dupe is included with wire.

when you want to duplicate something you need to right click on it, then left click on the ground to spawn it

make sure you put only the dupe text file into the data adv duplicator folder, then ingame open the adv duplicator tool and in the box on the side in the q menu find the dupe, click oit, click open then you can spawn it wherever you want

you can't, saved adv dupes are only saved in the adv dupe foldeer, because they are things welded or wired together, not acutual Sents (scripted entities)

do you mean when you try to spawn things from it they have big 3d error signs on them? or when you use the adv duplicator lua errors come up? if you get the big errors when you spawn things, it's because you don't have the props that were used to create whatever it is. usually people will say what is required for contraptions and stuff in the description or readme.

wow. dude, you should look at the little help bubbles that appear at the side of the scren, and the in game tutorials. hold q to open th menu, there you will find the tabs for props, npcs, entities, vehicles and weapons. to the left side is the tabs for the tool menu, options, post proccessing and 2 others i think.

if you get errors, it's a prop that isnt on you gmod, it has nothing to do with the duplicator :p

in the tools menu, in construction there should be a tool called advanced duplicator, click it and then it will be in the little menu, or in the =public folder= menu, or you can make your own to put them in :)
