Such a Melancholy song. Just sums up teenage insecurity and the need to runaway.

This cartoon version is so touching and underlines the girls vulnerability to people who could take advantage of her. ("Meeting a man from the motor trade"- a Euphamism for a pimp).

Always wants to make me cry for the child's vulnerability, and the loniliness she is feeling. And what did the parents do to make her want to leave home?

Stunning video, expresses perfectly the lonliness, and yet vulnerablility of an adolescent.

It captures the line in the song "keeping the appointments she made with the man from the motor trade" a euphomism for a drugs dealer; and yet in her innocense does not realise the jepoardy she has put herself.

And the parents, not realising that they have been living their lives through the child.

The drawings highlight it and just makes me want to cry.
