i recorded the show and watched it again and again and saw simon actually standing up ang hugging the other judges right after kris allen was announced as the winner. then when ryan was interviewing kris for his reaction - simon sitted again and that's when the camera focused on the judges and saw him sitting down

Nah nah dude, Kris Really did suck. He was flat. He had no range. No style. Nothing to make him stick out. I remember watching the finale and thinking, "holy shit, who is this guy?" He was boring! Adam was exciting! He reminded me of a puppy that was kicked too any times and was forced to look happy. And btw, Kris COULDNT hit the high notes to save his life.
Adam and American Idol have never actually come out and said Adam is gay... he avoids the question, purely because if he is, then people will react exactly like they are... I think this is so great. The more I watch it the more I really like Kris as a person. He is very nice and his parents should be very proud of him. Did anyone hear the exact vote breakdown? 38 mil from ARK is very possible if a lot of people speed-dialed for hours! I suspect the other 60 mil were split (45/15) in Adam's favor. He's such a star! And he's been a class act in congratulating Kris. What a supportive group of contestants!
I'm from Arkansas and there are only close to 3 million people there. So, each person in the state (including babies) would've had to vote for Kris 12-13 million times each? I don't think so. Perhaps that 38 million came from other states as well. Kris's only fans are not in his homestate. If that was the case, Adam would've won (California' population is almost 37 million)....
Amazing amazing finale and season. Adam is so gracious and genuine, I love him and it's true what he says. They'll both get to make records and go on tour and garner millions of fans. It's amazing what american idol can do and I am so so so happy for Kris. It was a great end !

Kris won me over when I heard him sing Man in the Mirror in the round of 36. I've been a fan ever since and am so happy for him. Adam is an amazing singer. In fact he was the best singer on the show this season but I just personally didn't enjoy his style of singing and music. Seems like a very nice guy but I can't imagine enjoying listening to his CD. Kris' style of music is much more to my liking.....but to each his own. Congrats to them both.

Chris Daughtry didn't win AI and he has one of the best selling debuCds ever, IMO one of the best CDs start to finish, some of the AI non-winners have gone on to be Tony award nominees, best selling recording artists. Adam has Bowie and Linda Perry wanting to work with him on his CD. I repeat : They want to work with him. Adam is that great.

There is a place for Adam...Simon Had him pegged right when he auditioned...he called him "theatrical". There are lesser known opera singers that work back-up with REAL stars too. Adam will fit in nicely and will alway get some paid studio work.

i recorded the show and watched it again and again and saw simon actually standing up ang hugging the other judges right after kris allen was announced as the winner. then when ryan was interviewing kris for his reaction - simon sitted again and that's when the camera focused on the judges and saw him sitting down

Nah nah dude, Kris Really did suck. He was flat. He had no range. No style. Nothing to make him stick out. I remember watching the finale and thinking, "holy shit, who is this guy?" He was boring! Adam was exciting! He reminded me of a puppy that was kicked too any times and was forced to look happy. And btw, Kris COULDNT hit the high notes to save his life.

Kris won because he is a most complete artist, yeah. He can play piano, guitar or sing without instruments very well. He is more of the type of music nowadays, and his music is more natural. Instead, Adam only sings and in an "overly theatrical" way. And what the hell?! He is gay, or just became one at American Idol?! Besides Kris always beat Adam in the votes. I don't care if Adam is gay. But yeah, for some reason Kris always had more support and always got more votes than Adam. And he does scream, you should accept it. I loved when Adam screamed, or whatever you call it, he standed above the rest. And I certainly loved the ending of Whole Lotta Love, amazing. I love rock, actually I'm a metal fan, but I do recognize Kris is a good artist. Maybe not better than Adam, but he won and you could have seen that coming when he was at the top 2.

I think this is so great. The more I watch it the more I really like Kris as a person. He is very nice and his parents should be very proud of him. He sounds so grounded and he knows and feels comfortable with himself. Lets face it. How many straight guys would hug a gay guy, or even be a really good friend without having that fear of being associated with a gay person? Just shows how really neat Kris is. Of course, I love Adam to bits and will follow him everywhere (via internet).

Did anyone hear the exact vote breakdown? 38 mil from ARK is very possible if a lot of people speed-dialed for hours! I suspect the other 60 mil were split (45/15) in Adam's favor. He's such a star! And he's been a class act in congratulating Kris. What a supportive group of contestants!

I'm from Arkansas and there are only close to 3 million people there. So, each person in the state (including babies) would've had to vote for Kris 12-13 million times each? I don't think so. Perhaps that 38 million came from other states as well. Kris's only fans are not in his homestate. If that was the case, Adam would've won (California' population is almost 37 million)....

Kris won me over when I heard him sing Man in the Mirror in the round of 36. I've been a fan ever since and am so happy for him. Adam is an amazing singer. In fact he was the best singer on the show this season but I just personally didn't enjoy his style of singing and music. Seems like a very nice guy but I can't imagine enjoying listening to his CD. Kris' style of music is much more to my liking.....but to each his own. Congrats to them both.
